im not gonna argue either the 2jz is the better... but it also costs you heaps more to own the supra in the first place.

guys this hole arguement is iver nufn he said a 300rwkw vl beats a supra not a fully worked supra... everyone knows the 2jz is way better then the rb30 so lets all hug n make up Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lol I didnt realize by making that comment it would spark a arguement. Yeah what I meant is a 300rwkw VL Turbo beating a mild Supra, not fully worked one lol. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lol a mild supra will still be alot of power....

lol, u sparked a discussion, not an arguement. There is never an arguement on CT Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i think the main reason why VL turbos are popular is cos they are cheap and easy power and they still wear a "holden" badge so bogans can still claim aussie pride when they cant handle driving anything "japanese". I would like to see what people would be saying if a R32 GtR cost the same as vlct. I think alot of these guys who lord vl's would be back pedaling... cos in dead stock form a GTR and Calais Turbo comparison is stupid, the GTR wins IMO. Alot of you guys are talking about "full house" VL's (crazy engine, paint, interior, rims, body, with lots of innovation etc), have a look at some fullhouse Gtr's and you minds might change about the topic.

Round abouts? Can you even get an mk4 supra for that? Like a stock one? lol But i dont disagree the 2jz is the greatest 6 cylinder turbo donk of all time imo. It was like they were built to be work, internals etc.. And silva wags the gtr and calais turbo would never be the same price. If the gtr price dropped it would push the other 6 cylinder turbo cars down with it. But even it isnt always about power or handling, i would stil rather a tough vl. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Who gives a Sh1t really you can get any Japenese Engine going hard if you got the big $$$ that is,Some have to realize that the VL is a old car now you cannot compare it to newer designed cars,You would not be saying VL Turbo's were Bogan mobiles with Japanese engine back 11 year's ago everyone back those days wanted a VL Turbo not a word about Skylines or other Imports for that matter back those day's. Bottom line is if you respect a VL Turbo for what it is you deserve to own 1,If not and you own A VL saying Skyline GTR will flogg it etc well go buy a Skyline join up on a Skyline forum because this forum is only VL Turbo discussion forum simple.

thats right rubes. We are dicussing VL turbos while compared to skylines, which is all good. its good to hear other peoples opinions on topics like these and it makes for an interesting debate with pro's and con's of each side being said. having said that, if you only want to hear about holdens, i suggest you stick to your HDT forums..

Tuff decision. Both mint cars I rekon if u want to build your 10 second vl minter up to your standards in every way, be perpared to sink around 50-60K easy into it. If money is no object, then if thats what you wanted to do I'd do it who cares what everyone else thinks. But if ur not building it urself manually there is really no differance between paying someone to build it and building some1 else's car and modifing it to your needs other then cost wise. Like you said money isn't a problem, so I rekon start from fresh, get a plan, open your wallet and make it a reality and good luck.
