12-09-05, 10:33 GMT+10#81 Marc,
Can you do your cooler piping so the afm can be located near the A/C and hidden if you know what i mean.
Down low near the radiator if possible.
if so Then I'd be greatly interested as the cooler piping looks good besides the position of the afm.
It is possible too, The afm wiring is long enough to reach.

Greg, I would only do that if it is a fitted kit. It is slightly a bit more stuffing around to rechange the pipes for a post out kit but it definatley is possible as I have done it plenty of times before..

13-09-05, 10:45 GMT+10#91 Marc - what price would i be looking at for the above kit.
only difference is i would want the afm positioned down near the radiator and not above the dizzy.

13-09-05, 10:55 GMT+10#92 Greg. The cost for the whole kit fitted is $950 with polished piping and the a.f.m wherever you want it to go.

13-09-05, 14:24 GMT+10#93 Can you place the afm in the position i want and send it out or would you need the car.
As obviously you have a vlt you test your stuff on?

13-09-05, 16:04 GMT+10#94 We have many vlt's here greg but they are customer cars and we dont like to test our things on customer cars. My vl is in panel shop getting painted so I dont drive one. James my partner has just sold his one, and we dont need to do the testing at this stage on the piping as we have a template that we go buy. To change the template off the car is risky as the a.f.m may hit the power steering pump or aircon pulley or something like that.
So to answer your question yes i would like to have the car here. Think of it as simply paying someone $70 bucks to fit your whole kit for you.AS the kit delivered is $870.00. No hassles for you and more hassles for me. Fit your standard cross over pipe and drive her in...

20-09-05, 22:13 GMT+10#99 Hey guys, here is a photo of our updated piping kit to suit vl turbo. Please forgive the crudeness of the photo. There is no clamps in the photo but the kit does come with them. Also machine rolled ends. The kit can be supplied with a single piece instead of the a.f.m. This kit can be run with airbox or without airbox.

This may sound like a stupid question, but what is the advantage of moving the AFM. I was on the assumption it would supply incorrect signals
Thanks
