You'd think it would be fine at a high boost level like 30psi...its at the lower settings that it will struggle with boost control, like 7psi etc
30psi is a lot of boost man! Most people ive seen running these 35/40s are usually running around 16-22psi.

Thats right mate, But my supplier had a few, had them custom made. now he has sold out.. Just got the e-mail from him..
But yeah they are not an off the self item. Sorry for the confussion...
I was just looking at HORSEPOWERINABOX and they do the T04Zs internally gated aswell as an option, the T04zs can also have a T3 style ex hsng apparently. Cheers for clarifying JNRGMH and agree with RACESPEC, nice prices.

No worrys..
internal gate will struggle to hold 30psi consistant, thats why u go to external to control boost better, boost spike or bleeding off boost can affect a car badly

What would a good turbo be to run 18-20 PSI all day everyday, ball bearing watercooled? going onto an R34 Neo RB25det? i want something that will spool-up reasonably quick.... around 1850ish

good luck. you cant have the best of both worlds. 1850 is terribly low, aim for something around 3500-3800 full boost with an rb25, because you will be able to rev it out more. i recommend a gt35/40 with .82 rear, obehve has ran 10.1 on pump fuel with this turbo, i also have this on my car and its great to drive.
