Mate, just revving it to about 5000rpm, it spins through 1st and 2nd, i cant control myself, bloody lead foot . Ive yet to really take it off the 4200 stall. Its fun and im paying the price with the amount of fuel it chews.....cant wait to tune the thing. Yea the Demon carb looks good and it works great too. Ive more or less bolted it on, as it was out of the box and the car doesnt splutter or have flat spots. Its is running very rich though, so once its tuned im sure it will make a huge difference.
Yea i kept the charcoal cannister . I thought, if i get pulled over, at least i wont get plugged for not having one on. Ive got dummy hoses going around the engine, to show the cannister is hooked up

07-06-05, 08:11 GMT+10#85 Sounds like lot's of fun ELA-RE. What box are you running your car? I also want to know more about your exhaust. I'm thinking of going from a single 3 inch to a twin 2 1/2 soon and I notice that it looks like your running a twin system on you car. Any pics of the way you have this setup under your car...

I dont actually have any pics of under the car. I might be able to take a few this weekend if i have time.
Im running a dual 3inch system, with a couple of small straight through mufflers before the diff, exhaust then goes over the diff and using straight through Hooker aero chamber mufflers at the rear. Before i got the exhaust done, alot of ppl were saying that a dual 3inch is too big and that id lose torque down low, what a crock. NOw that the car is done, im extremely glad ive done this setup. I am running about 11:1 comp and if i went any smaller, i know the motor would have choked a abit.
So is if you are going to run fairly high compression and its a big cube motor, i would get a dual 3 inch. With the right choice in mufflers, the car will be relativey quiet and the performance wont suffer.
