Andrew, your gonna prove how weak it is compared to a larger V8 as well. Its like me trying to prove with my highly modded RB30 N/A that i can beat a slightly worked VLT! It just wont happen. LOL even a stock VLT it wont happen. But the thing is your gonna put all this work into your 253, and when it blows up theres gonna be a lot of money wasted. And belive me its noit just a matter of swapping things over.

Mate how old are you? The 253 has been out on the market since the 70's, what can be done has been done to them. You arent going to be breaking any new ground with this motor. Except waste a sh*t load of money. Have you any idea the cost of forged crank, forged pistons, forged cam??? and forged rods, are? Plus roller rockers, machining and all other parts over looked. Infact thinking about it I very much dought that anyone will build the motor for you, no matter how much money you throw at em.

Ive only been telling you that since ummm... SINCE YOU GOT YOUR TUNNER!!!. May i suggest a 185 Red Top and all the wiring (ECU, Loom etc) to go in. Get a VR or VS front cut so youve got everything you need. Also might be able to set up ABS with it as well. MAYBE!! And im not sure if there are any forums on V8 twin turbos. Dont be lazy and do a search! Cheers Francis

Do you have a money tree or something? You do realise that most of the 327/350 blocks you'll be looking at (that are chev) will all be carby and will be on super? Unless you get an SS block or an injected chev for an arm and a leg. Twin turbo 350 chev tonner? Don't see it happening anytime soon.

u sound like a massive dreamer.. i dont think you realise much about motors, u dont just slap twin turbos on a v8... theres no budget way to do it, it will cost money and lots of it. U need custom exhaust manifolds, the turbos, wastegates, dumpipes, rest of exhaust, intercooler, intercooler piping, carb hat, oil lines, blow off valve(s) this is just the turbo setup. On the motor u will need o-ringed heads, copper head gaskets, machined crank, machined rods, forged pistons, block machined (balanced, bored, balanced, deburred e.t.c) then there's labor costs, tuning, and many things im sure ive forgotten. THENN u have a transmission to hold the torque(thousands of dollars with the converter, shiftkit and labor e.t.c) then u need a tailshaft, diff.... There are really budget ways around this (ill show u when i finish mine but u gotta know what you're doing which reading yourt posts im sorry but u dont. My advice is definately get the 308, and stick with a n/a 308 for a while, u can make scarey power with one of them alone, get the crank nitrided, rods shotpeened, some acl pistons, balance it, get some vn heads, get em ported a bit, roller rockers, harrop/torque power manifold and put a dirty big fuel sucking carby on top with a nice solid cam and make over 400hp Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yes andrew, you really need to stop dreaming and get your tunner back together first. Then start worrying about wat your gonna do to the motor. I also dont see this happening anytime soon especially if your gonna be moving out of home.Youll go mad because you wont have the money to spend. So if i were you id be getting the tunner resprayed and put back together. LOL Thats right guys its absolutley stripped!! And hes talking about twin turbos already.

a nasty twinturbo v8 can be done for under $3000 , sure u wont get a long motor life but keep the boost under 7 and might get a few k out of it

hha twin screw the most expensive one of them all, allow $3500 for whipple supercharger alone, then you'll need a manifold for it, blower snout and pullets, belts, carby/throttlebody, fuel system weeeeeeeeee
