they knew what they were doing and what had to be done it get the car. they could of chosen between serveral other exotic sports car, but they chose the vlt.

01-11-05, 11:19 GMT+10#84 well i think its pretty simple eh.......
get an alarm with 2 or 3 point immobilisation, with a pager so when it goes off and ur not around u know. retail usualy 400 - 600, small price to pay for peace of mind!

06-11-05, 00:48 GMT+10#87 i know a guy who used to be a pro car thief and now is doing community service and he said that if he sees that little blinking red light inside the car he will leave it alone. he said there is always goign to be someone with a good car that has no alarm, you just have to skip the alarmed cars till you find that good one. but he was a real pro. not like most that will smash a window and rip out the stereo but just my 2 cents

09-05-06, 15:34 GMT+10#91 Stay away from the solex locks they're a waste of money!!! if someone wants it they'll smash the windows anyway. Besides a potato in the lock and they'll turn sumtimes anyway. Beware!!!! It happened to me... Spend the money on a fuel cut out switch....

03-06-06, 12:27 GMT+10#92 Get a small GPS transmitter and put it in the car somewhere, that way you'll know where it is even if it does get stolen so the cops can lay some smackdown.

I had a guy once that they towed his car from out the front of his house and had taken it to bush where they stripped it and burnt it.
