EAT-30L was outstanding. Quite a few other extremely impressive VLT's in there as well. On the other hand, I thought the level of some of the entrants had dropped, **** I saw a pink lancer, an EXCEL and a new dead stock CV8 monaro cruising around. WTF? Isnt summernats about the best of the best? How are these cars let through scrutineering? It's starting to become all about the money now (mainly to pay the insurances me thinks). While on the other hand, cruising through the day and the arvo it wasn't as rowdy as previous years (ie pissed yobo bogans touchin the car if you don't light em up on demand) The nightime may not have been as well, but summernats at night is summernats at night!! When I wasn't stumbling around wasted or getting into trouble, I took quite a few pics, but couldn't be bothered to post them up. Well, maybe just one. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Ok, here is a couple more. I tried to make it dial up friendly... Not a VLT but one awesome car: I loved this thing: I was blown away by this Ambulance: This is off tap. Talk about metal mountain! I might load the entire lot up on my web page sometime in the future. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

That ambulance was nuts. I could hear it throughout all the galleries, and it made me feel sick for a while, which was sick!! As for this years summernats, it was the best ever, and i recommend all people to come next year!!!

If anyone has 27k they can buy TTJET from down in melbourne. I would say he has spent about double that, probably more. I tell ya if I had that money I would take straight away!! That thing is immaculate - made just for shows i reckon!

I had a good chat with the owner of TTJET in Braddon on saturday night. He seemed a real nice chap. I looked at the car for ages and he told me all about it but I can only remember some of the things he said due to my intoxicated state. The car has- White leather interior Rebuilt RB30 bottom with 26 top Custom cams, lifters etc Bigger turbos, injectors Crazy 5speed, driveline etc One of the nicest engine bays around Cant remember the rest, but I do remember him saying that he estimates it to put out 400KW on the dyno if all runs well, and he had been in contact with Jason Gray so it will grace the pages of SC in the near future. He wants to sell the car as he wishes to build a TTV8! Fair enough!! Must save my pennies!!

Also if anyone saw a complete idiot with a brown afro wig, crusing around in a red gemini, that was me. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
