I have always known and heard them referd to as Group A V8 production race/racing....but no problem if I wrong then I'm wrong... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh the bible speaks again, Wheels n Motor, what fantastic magazines. I cant think of any magazines there are more biased than those two. Never mind, im not in the market for a new vehicle, so i dont read those particular bibles. Again, HSV are ****. *me looks at thread name* ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Unlike some people on here... South2 your point wasnt on the thread when YOU said "Actually the BA is winning on the track, and its only been around for a year. As for Car Sales, Ford last time i looked was also winning that one too... As for the way they measure power, then why dont they do it the same way, they should all follow the same standards btw its spelt mature :P" So again I ask where do YOU get your info from????

Infact its going to take the last round of the season to find out, wont it South2 And if Ambrose dosent win then there is about 2 (Murphy and Skaife) Holden drivers in line before the next Ford driver. isnt that right South2? And finaly if Ambrose has another weekend like this one he may get taken over by Kelly and Bright as well. Ambrose is Fords only hope. yep South2 the BA has all the racing rapped up. WHERE THE HELL YA GETTING YOUR INFO FROM?? South2 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Who has won the most rounds this year? Going by that information, being consecutive, I choose Ford to win the championship. If ambrose were to start in 15th position and win the race he would rack up more points than skaife starting on pole and coming in 2nd, even if skaife came 1st and ambrose 2nd in that scenario, ambrose would get more points. Why because they have changed the points system to a ****ed up consecutive/best driving system, and im buggered if i know how they thought it up. As for the sales, it was mid year when the Ford Falcon and all its models sold more than the Holden Commodore and its models. We are counting utes, SS, XR8, fairmonts, calais, LTD, stato everything. This information was colated from the major companies in australia, and its done all the time. Holden may sell more cars, of which are built mainly buy opal (with holden doing nothing but slapping a badge on), but we are talking the good old falcon vs commodore. As for skaife being president, ha! hes an arrogant **** and not many people like him, he puts on a happy face for the camera, and then turns into a right prick off camera. HSV Suck your ass

What if.??????What if?????What if??????? what if sales finished 1/2 way through the year??? So now Ford is all Australian.......nothin is bolted on there cars that is made over seas??? Moffet was great on camera as well...whats ya point?? "This information was colated from the major companies in australia, and its done all the time." Where?????

Thats all you could come up with? Thats your answer? Your like the make of car you defend..... You resort to calling people names. You make statments that arnt true, you then post them on here with no back up. You want to stick to the subject when it suits you and you dont answer any of the questions you are aked. Having a bit of a sad are we Mr EEVL? So I ask you (not holding my breath for a answer) Who is having the sads MR South2?

ha ha this is a funny read took me a while anyway, both fpv and hsv measure the power figures of the gt and cluby different as for them useing the same standard of measuring hsv had changed the way they measure there cars as it is a better way dont know if ford will use the same standard ????? beleve me or not I couldnt care less! I think a few people need to chill out a bit, holden and ford arnt the end of the world life will go on

Im not having a sad at all. I did post a long reply last night, but the f'ing forum came up with some error and therefore i lost all my text, and my interest in replying. It appears to me that your the only one being rather up tight about this whole conversation. Talking to yourself a fair amount on the last page, what is it 6 or 7 replies in a short time, hmmm you sure your not a skitzo??? Some of us do have to work on the weekend, hence the long time betime replies. 24hrs of work in total of which no time is spent browsing the internet trying to be a tough guy. You've said you would watch your spelling about 15 times now, yet you still fail to spell the most basic of words :P Mate give it up, HSV suck, your VLs suck, and last but not least you suck Im not going to bother anymore, ta taa Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Alright heres my long 2 cents about all this. U cant compare a Fairmont to a Calais, cause maybe it would be better compared to a Statesman. Its not like for every holden there is a corresponding Ford car - wheres the Ford coupe? True the GENIII v8s have some oil problems, but they arent the bane of the whole series. My dad owns a VXII v8 calais, and he's not using oil like petrol. True that just 1 v8 outta 1000s, but it proves that u shouldnt blame the probs of a few on the whole. Ford is using newer technology and massive funds to increase their owns profits and gain ground, NOT to drive holden into the ground. Ford just wants a good share of the market, like all car companies, they arent just here to try to beat holden, but good on em for their attempts anyway, taking on a company that is by far considered "Australia's Car company". True holden usings outdated technology in their cars, and imports the engines rather than building their own... by far that is the cheaper alternative isnt it? a better way to improve their profits. And this profit is well spent in the styling department i reckon, why prob one of the better reasons i prefer holdens is that their colour charts are so much more better than fords, no contest. yeah yeah long post, and lucky u's, as i rarely say much on this forum oh and HSV vs FPV (ie. the thread topic)... dont like either. Ur better off just buying ur car off either holden or ford, and then doing it up urself, rather than letting them do it. u get a say in whats wat then and learn a bit while doing so - Steve

well as far as i learnt in this i know fords technology in motors is all done in australia though with holden they got to buy there motors from GM in america just to keep up with fords technology ecotec buick motor prehistoric GEN3 america 5.7 and someone said cadilac V6 motor will now be used for once i would like holden australia to design a motor matching what ford are doing
