ive got an rb20det in mine with a 25 head on it..makes 300rwhp on 18psi..got a gt30/76,3.9 dif gears,microtech ecu,444cc injectors,3inch straight throo exhaust,forged pistons..it spools up pretty late,but its good cos i can drive it at a casual pace without having to boost it everywhere..theres alot more potential in it with a few different fuel system mods,n maybe a cam,n some head work.. i can understand how some people wouldnt like the conversion but as some have said if its done properly it is a good cheap option..ive had no problems with mine (other than the usual vl problems) and it drives really good,sits at bout 1300-1400rpm in 5th at 100..and does a betta skid than most rb30's ive seen..

An Rb25 head? on a RB20 bottom end? Unlikely as the valves 'DO' smash in to the side of the bore as they open. :P If it really were a 25t head that gt3076 would be making 270-280rwkw on 18psi or as with my 25 on head on the 30 bottom once i dropped cams in it 300rwkw (400rwhp) with 17psi. Mine makes all its boost by 2800rpm, boost build is linear off idle and rev's clean through to its 7300rpm cut. 200rwkw (300rwhp) at 3500rpm, 256rwkw at 4000rpm so its got some ripping mid range. I'd always prefer to grab a set of injectors, fmic, turbo exhaust manifold, cheap ecu and turbo the RB30E NA over the rb20 poo. :P Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Auto r31's come with 3.9s from factory, find a wrecked one and steal pinion and crownwheel
