I must say its a very weird setup, with all the effort into the chassis, i wouldnt of keeped the standard chassis rails there, its just dead weight and run a front engine plate, but i guess you can allways change it down the track. shaun

I guess the car may be open to further options down the track but for now it is on top of its game with no need to explore them thus yet.

ahh ok do you know what that reason may be? after all the research i have done on jbrc and RJ chassis's they just use a engine plate between the struts shaun

being 6 cylinder it couldn't race in pro compact anyway? there are 3/4 and full chassis in pro compact

So far with the current rules, 3/4 cars are allowed in each class, Pro comp and Pro turbo. On the 1/1/1012 the pro turbo cars will require a full tube chassis to andra specs. The only full tube chassis cars allowed in Pro comp are 2 rotors and 4 cyl. At the moment this car is best to stay in pro compact due to its mph if they want to stay competitive, due to both class's working on a Chicago Shootout format. If car wanted to move into pro turbo which the rules state it can. This car would have to grow some ball's, and i mean some 210mph + balls, other wise its just going to be the fat kid in the football team. I think a lot of people seem to forget this car isnt about being the fastest VL anymore, its about being competitive in the class its built for..... shaun

Hmmm, i think people need to stop being so defensive. The car isn't deemed 3/4 chassis by either andra nor scg regs due to the strut towers being removed. End of story. I couldn't give a flying f uck if the car has NO front end, its the toughest vl on the planet, number 1 on the planet, and for anyone who doesn't know has my manifold on it, just because I dare "say" by the rules its not classified as a 3/4 chassis car, doesn't mean I give a sh1t or am being a negative about it, im just correcting direct misinformation posted Considering they came 3rd at Jamboree against a field of mid 6 second cars, at its first race meeting and far from its potential, and also considering they are trying to run the top classes chicago shootout lately so minimum 6 runs per meeting, I'd say they'll be just fine in pro turbo, and if anything will help push them to go faster and faster. Only a good thing in my book. And for those that don't know, 20b and 6 cylinder 3/4 cars are now allowed in pro compact. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah, agreed with KIL351, VLGOD is only "fresh" and it's already claiming records and getting a name for itself.

Its true about pro turbo being a big leap, 224mph is where its at, but maatouk is at 180mph in a few meetings... give him a year or 2 to see if he can get 200+mph which im pretty sure he will.. If he races in pro compact and he wins some events + has one of the fastest cars there, whats driving him to go faster, if he runs in pro turbo, hes going to line up against pac, gas etc etc and make him want to bite the steering wheel before banging that 2 step!! thats what racing is all about, having an edge! Im sure this car will see 20+ MORE psi in the next year and compete against this mid field in pro turbo. i dont think he cares what people think his chasis is classified as, he just wants to race against the best and one day beat the best, thats exactly what id be doing. All the hype that goes on, im sure he knows about and this is what makes him turn the boost up!!
