yeah im happy as with my budget build haha. i use to have those rims on the gts. they r 18x8.5 with bmw offset so they sit nice and wide in the gaurds. the fotos r quiet deceiving with how low it is but with the crap roads in hawkes bay its going to be abit of fun to drive round.
im getting ichy to put an injected v8 in it

The 17s don't have the holes spaced evenly around the rim.
Doesn't the BMW offset mean you get horrible guard rub?

BMW offset means the rim generally sticks out further, but there is a lot of room for wider lower offset rims in VLs. I had 19x8.5 at +38 all round on my VL no problems. A lot comes down to tyre choice when running more aggressive offsets/widths

nothing a hammer cant fix . iv beaten the rear gaurds out on this car i just have to wait and see wat i have to do to front when i start driving round.
they use to rub wen they were on the gts, but yeah it all comes down to tire choice.

he would have failed it on the matt black paint....followed by the 2 litre engine well if I was the WOF man thats what I would do

the brake will be the imbalance probly as i always got done for it at vtnz,you will need to adjust the shoes to where you think they are even/ballanced
