well little while since ive up dated hear so i best do a little one last week adelaide had a big downpour for a few days and i watched the car for leaks found the back window was just dripping by letting water around the window seal to glass part my fault as i didnt put sealer in there _________________________________ 2/5/09 well finally got a new rear window today and put it in so had my rear seat, parcel shelf and interior 1/4 panel trims off too vacumed the car out and wipped all the trim dash etc down stuck on my turbo dash badge aswel _________________________________ 3/5/09 just sent a message to a dude on ebay about rear disc, trying to find the same style as my fronts and im pritty dam sure they are from him so we will see what he says and if so prices this week i might orgernise my exhaust to get done too i have the funds in my account just have to book it in and set up tow trucks to take my car down and bring it home ill finish sanding my tail light garnish and that can get primed when my bars get done hopefully this week when my mums car spoiler gets painted as we gave my mate set of SSSL king spring to paint it also today i went up to his house too fitted the rear springs and pulled his front struts out so he said he will have it done this week _____________________________________ 4/5/09 well got a email back and the disc are suposly the same style and are def made by them $238 include postage from the east states so not to bad might have to wait a week or two before i order them just to make sure my funds are stable lol getting a new fuel flap off my mate tommorow for free vr fuel flap with the opening mech and cabling all the way to the front with leaver so now ill have a fuel flap which you need to open from inside instead of just have a random walk past and open it plus i lost mine __________________________________ Yesterday well got the exhaust priced up and he said $740 fitted but he preffers the car running as it makes it easyer to move onto the hoist and what not so i said ill let him know in 2 weeks looks like ive got to get the car running asap Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Perfect example of BUILT NOT BOUGHT. Hey legal6, who are you buying those discs from? If you're after a good price, email gemicam on eBay. He did my discs for an amazing price (saved over $400 for the set). Here's his store: http://stores.ebay.com.au/BrakeWorx (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=3&campid=5335860158&toolid=10001&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fstores.ebay.com.au%2FBrakeWorx) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

cheer everyone for the kind words 5spdvl, cheers for the link but im chasing identical ones to my fronts, which he doesnt seem to have. all good though as the dude i email has i quite love the look of the curve slot and curve drilled who cant say they arent nice look........ update front bar and few moulds are finally primed aswell as the tail light garnish still need to get a centre part for a rear bar and few moulds then they will be primed with the fuel flap too Today well spent $180 on fluids just before penrite transaxle 75 (gearbox) penrite limslip gear oil 90 (diff) gulf western oil 20w/50 (just for running the motor in) tectaloy gold coolant mix 10lt distiled water loctite (for drivetrain bolts) loctite blue maxx gasket maker diff cover gasket drain pan still forgot to get brake fluid clutch fluid power steer fluid so today ill be laying under the car for a while well i ended up getting more stuff aswel today coolant over flow bottle brake/clutch fluid few little clamps got the diff done first off and boy did it smell like cat piss, was nice black and really gluggy so new fluid is in now and all re sealed with new gasket then i went onto the gearbox, went about trying to get the filling bolt out no way it would budge, i snapped the gearing in a pair of vice grips of mine as i clamped them that tight, the square bolt started to round so went back to the shop to find out the exact fluid amount so i could fill it up from inside the car by removing the shifter but they gave me the wrong fluid, so they are ordering it in for me i then moved onto the cooling system and started about doing it mixed it all up and filled the radiator then bleeded the system properly by lower bolt then the top bolt, fluid flowed out perfect:dance: mounted my over flow resiour under the bar on the skirt reo and ran my piping though the front so all is hidden engine oil is all fine so really im almost half way brakes, clutch and gear box to go did some of the fuel breather pipes near the tank but i need a bigger pipe for the last one and that done too then its only a few things to starting fitt my AFM into my cooler piping and extend the loom extend the dissy capicator do my breather pipes for the rocker cover run the last bit of the main power to the starter area and get Daron to finish it off  Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Its looking fantastic mate. Whats with the Coolant bottle being in such an awkward spot thou?

Cheers Steve i could find anywhere else to mount it for the time being, only temp really looking at getting a stainless one made to mount up near the blower fan intake last night had a little scare bleeding the clutch bleed the air out and there was no pedal, straight to the floor almost, bited at the last few cm after a bit of thinking i was thinking the worst, that i put the pressure plate not on properly or the fork and the clutch the right way but i started to play with the slave cylinder and relised the rubber dust boot wasnt on correct so i pulled it off and the pedal instally fixed turned out that because it was already streched out the piston couldnt move hence why it wouldnt work all good now well i bleeded the brakes tonight nice and firm pedal clutch - check brakes - check accelrator - imaginary check the list is getting smaller Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
