its a very small amount jake, not 25-30%. i know, because i aint carrying around a massive tank of methanol with me in my boot, be way to inconvenient for the street. the sh1t is pretty toxic for ur body too. and i dont reckon pwr would be down anywhere near 20% on 98 ron either. 20% is a fair bit. that's a drop of over 150hp.
to me, the methanol is just a small additive, maybe alikened to using octane booster in my opinion. and no one would give 2 sh1ts if u were throwin that in the tank. if it was like a 50/50 mix, or close to that, then i would agree with u.
and yes, 8 ball is on like donkey kong, this time we'll play 25-30 game marathon.

Those points you make are exactly what I was thinking....if it was a 30-50% mix you'd need a farkin massive drum in the boot with you at all times...ridiculous...I think its just a more cost effective way to boost octane rating...who wants to spend $20 on a good bottle of octane booster that doesnt achieve the same results and doesnt go as far....meh...

pic of it on the engine dyno. i reckon the pics on the first page are the most current ive got, not much has changed to it visually since then, just piping, wiring, tuning, etc.

what's the octane rating of methanol? Must be through the roof if 110+ is achieved with just a little bit...
Why not use E85?
