I see wires! :p Just kidding. That's some amazing work there, Stef. I'll be sending my alternator to you after Christmas to get sorted out, as discussed a while ago.

For me to fly up to brisbane, equipment wise wont be an issue if you were intrested.

FATMAN: Yeah it can be done with that price no worries. Just a quick question, have you ever considered bringing the car down to melb for a week? rumpster1: Never really thought bout going to W.A to do a job lol. Maybe i sould start planning a holiday out that way? lol

thought about it, cheaper to fly a person up here, risk of damage in transport, theft of parts etc, thrashed by the guys loading and unloading the car, i can't afford one little scratch on the car, hate leaving it at workshops.

***NEW*** 105AMP VL Alternator Since i cannot find an aftermarket alternator for the VL model that has higher amperage, we can now take your factory 70amp alternator, and can be wounded up to 105amps to help the people that run either AU thermo fans, big fuel pump setup or big audio systems. Ive had alot of customers complain about dimming lights, and volts dropping a fair bit with fans. pumps and headlights on same time. 130AMP for the VN-VS 5ltrs. Cars with * AU thermo fans or similar * Big HP Fuel pumps (eg. Bosch 044 etc.) * Airbags * General accesorries that drain alot of amperage Price is at $230, its an awsome mod to do when having alot of things going on at once. Quick example Take a commodore that has a Bosch 044 fuel pump, au fans, and headlights all running at the same time. 044 pump - 25-30amps AU Fans - 35-40amps (at full peak) Headlights - 15-20amps As you can see, just these 3 alone can pump out 90amps alone, and i havnt even included a mild or big stereo system. As you can see, a factory 85amp alternator, (VN-VS) and 70amp (VL) will NOT survive for very long. Freight delivery for outside melbourne available!!!
