I voted "dont care either way" becuase i think its an alright noise but when artificially enhanced by what you guys call a dose pipe and someone deliberately goes up and down the road dosing i cant think of anything else more egotistical and dumb.
Each to their own i guess but its a pity these people ruin it for the rest of us who dont want to be known another wanker in a VLe
edit: Is this an appropriate place to ask about dose/screamer pipes etc Or should i start a new thread? Reason i want to know is becuase im new to turbo motors and dont quite understand the mechanics of it...have done a search but we all know what they're like..

Agreed, id prefer to hear the sound of screamer pipe, or a gate open up and deafen you, yeah doses are nice at times but nothing can beat a nice gate. Well said xav
