mmm i wouldn't call it slapped and cheap, manifold injectors rail etc one said is near on 1500, the turbo kit was close to 4k plust the ignition , computer, computer wired up, plus the 4k for the box, so it's not really cheap now is it ?

If you can afford an R33 5 speed and an LSD diff, you can afford a $250-400 cam. Do it, will make a huge difference, is easy and cheap to fit.

I couldn't agree with you any more, should of ran more like 128-130mph. It was on some ****ed 17inch street tyres, i drove the it down there and on the way it seized the clutch fan, i had to drive it home, i wasn't smashing through the gears or reving the **** out of it either! I dont like people that make excuses and i hate doing so myself, but thats how it was!

You mean to say your turbo, manifold, gate, extra fuel system including metho pump and tank, clutch and engine stup cost you 2G?? If so, thats prob the cheapest bank for buck I've ever seen or heard and a potential 10 sec car. 6BOOST

It's a manual first of all, I have no idea what clutch its got but I've seen the metho setup and most would have a chuckle until they see what power it makes. This dyno day is going to be good!

Heres a list! Got the bottom end for $50, a ****ty turbo, manifold and waste gate cost me $500, I know Andy Sanders (SPP) really well he made my plenum and ported my head for basically nothing (owed me a few favours). Head studs and acl gasket cost me $500 from memory. All the other bits of **** like fuel pump, injectors and lines made up the rest! Keep in mind the car was already turbo charged before i put that engine in so already had cooler and exhaust ect. There you go, can be done backyard spec for around 2k Call me a cheap **** but i'm not going to spent 10k on an engine i could blow tommorow! I could really give a fu ck if this one blew tommorow, in fact i would probaly laugh! Another $50 at the wreckers and i would have it running again in a day!

What about computer, intercooler and piping??? That would have all had to be modified when you added the plenum, turbo manifold etc. What about exhaust and dump pipe etc?

Its got standard computer, intercooler and piping was already on the car, he's not scared to get in there and do the work himself, if you read a few pages back he is running 6 extra injectors on methanol.
