i just cant see why everyone cant go out and enjoy this sport with a jealous few scared of what might happen if the oppositon gets a good run in,oh well. caushn is in sydney in 2 weeks racing,i wonder if any other melb workshops will be attending.

As someone mentioned, Victorians are lucky enough to have two quarter mile strip's, so boycott the carnt's and stick with Heathcote. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

John, you can't quit racing! We haven't even seen your new car in action yet! It sounds like the guys who run Calder are ****heads but I don't think you should quit. Maybe you could race somewhere else? I agree you shouldn't sell your cars!! After reading how they have been treating you guys, I'm not sure if I want take my car to Calder when it comes time to take my car onto the track. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

John, your car's racing have been an inspiration to a hell of a lot of ppl... like many have already said, take your racing to a different track and ignore the people that try to put you down... Never let anyone get in the way of your passion. I sincerely hope you rethink about not going racing, ...or at least keeping the cars! either way, Australia knows where the best vlts come from. keep on rolling out the 1st class vls and keep up the awesome work your famous for...

If anything, having a set back like that would only want to push me harder and faster at a different track to stick it up their ass and to show them what their missing out on. thats true much agreed didnt expect this to happen anyway..not from bresciani racing. i always love watching the bresciani crew videos on fullboost. lots of good work. but anyways always comes down to the car scene in the end....lot of hot cars in vic but lack of respect. It may sound funny & some might find it hard to believe coming from me but this news doesn’t surprise me at all & I can see where John is coming from. We also sometimes have our ups and downs at Calder as well. Infield issues, wrist bands (not believing they are legit ones & asking us to go to race control to confirm - GAY!), NOT pulling the chute even though Ben doesn’t feel the need on slower passes (yes we were told if we didn’t pull the chute from Friday onwards that we wouldn’t be welcomed back there) and other little things which you sometimes think, is it necessary! As for sportsmanship, I honestly think it is really changing. On Friday our guys chatting with Michael, Vince & Stanik, having a chat with some of the Bresciani boys and vice versa. What was really good to see and what even topped it off was when Caushn lined up we were on the line watching & then when it was our time to line up some of their guys were happy to hang about and watch swell. Same when KD raced! At the end of the day, at the track, the little 16/17 year olds aren’t around & the true colours of all workshops come out the way the conduct themselves. Sometimes people get excited and hey ill be first to say yeah I do but it only happens in frustration with the ***t that goes on here some times. Alan has said many times, “there is no point taking the race car out if the track isn’t there” because poofters get on their high horse and start bagging his car. I think that is bad for the scene as people PAY money to come and see these cars in action. On Friday after we loaded the race car, we drove past the start line and seen there was a scuffle. Genuinely thinking there was a problem we stopped to see what's going on & in return copped a mouthful from some bloke for no reason. Not nice. I can honestly say as an individual, it would be such a shame to not see John race at Calder in future as he truly is great competition to race with when at the track. People think I eat, ****, breathe Rajab Racing (ok, I do, sometimes ) but I also enjoy watching any other VL’s from other workshops racing as well. Its drag racing at it's finest, don’t matter who built it. If i had cash, i would buy Pannic, along side with Bills twin turbo machine and pop them both in a show room Anyways - End of the day, it is John’s decision to do what ever he thinks is right and it is great too see the support from people off the forum as well. Best of luck in the future John. It's a shame you guys aren’t coming to Sydney this week instead, would be good too see you guys racing along side the race car & chopa. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

sorry to hear that you've made this decision John, what happened was absolute bull**** on Calders behalf, and i hope you can work things out as the cars coming out of your workshop are awesome, and a real asset to the scene. Friday was my first time at Calder park and was quite unimpressed with the way the place was run, but did enjoy seeing CAUSHN, the Rajab Race car and KD747 all running 8 second passes.
