Can you even stay in Coronet Peak? Pretty sure queenstown is the closest bed. Anyway you would rather stay in Queenstown- Party Central!

Yeah you can stay on the hill at Coronet, but I'm pretty sure you need to be a member of a lodge there and there wouldn't be much of a night life I like Wanaka a bit better... let tour buses

Nah not much, too flat and not very interesting. Good pipes though! I've spent a lot of time working there and not much free skiing, so maybe with a little more time I would find some decent runs

Just walk down the main street and have a look at info and track, and that other HUGE place on the corner... they can book absolutely everything for you. Make sure you raft the shotover jet if your fit-ish.. i did it in a package with the jet. Random Fact: The whole blasted in the mountain on the shotover river was made by my Grandfathers uncle They named the bridge after them. They were the last people to get to shotover chasing gold and had to divert the water... there little steam engine can be seen sitting up on the rocks near the exit of the tunnel they blasted, right where 1 Tonne Creek joins the shotover Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Mount baw baw have installed a airbag for us snowboarders and skiers to perfect,or try new tricks on.The launch pad is two metres high, three and a half metres wide.Which then lands into a 15 meter long inflatable air bag. Sound like fun!!
