He most likely is an employee of SSS, as he seems to have made up where he is from, with both his names, so we don't work out he probably is from western sydney. Oh and from what i have been told, that engine in Street machine was a real, clean "powerhouse" when it was put on the dyno Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

As SSS said, the "$15 000 engine" that will be featured in the next issue of SM and someone can win it. The price quoted in SM of $15K was most likely given by SSS anyway, SM would not have gotten the figure out of thin air. If you haven't heard, it's a SSS engine, with it's crank, rods, alloy heads, procomp ignition etc. It runs a 288 cam and only made 450 odd horsepower.

They must spend a hell of alot of money advertising in Street Machine because that mag should know better than to promote such a crap business with products that are blatant rip offs and total rubbish! Grrr

Since I rebirthed this thread there is a close knit group of blokes on this forum who for one reason or another continue slagging SSS.This is not a bad thing, as the phones at SSS haven't stopped ringing since this started. Every time you slag them, more people ring. All the enquiries start with "I've seen the forum but I dont care about what their saying ,tell me about the new crank".Basically you blokes are bagging a product you haven't even seen yet(and I don't care if you ever see one) and have turned it into their fastest selling item ALREADY!!! I haven't been marketing it, YOU HAVE! and I thank you. There is no such thing as bad publicity and when word gets out that, Hey, i'ts a really good crank for that price you guys will look dumber than you do now.Keep up the good work... No fundamental errors here mate, I haven't slagged off SSS at all, you even admitted your 1st batch of cranks were inferior. I haven't bagged the new crank at all (infact the opposite, I think I've been pretty forgiving.) Re-read my post properly, the point I was trying to make is your reputation is tarnished. I could buy all of SSS' cranks, label them as my own company and re-sell them and they would have a better reputation. There's a lot more to business than selling a good product...after-sales service, product knowledge etc. You still don't get it? Even if your cranks were the best on the market people would still not go to you guy's, when your building a performance application, price is important but not a priority, I would rather fork out extra to a company that have friendly people and are willing to back up their service then pay less for a greater product who is being sold by someone who's being an absolute ****wit, do you realise how desperate you's sound talking about these cranks. Also what's the story with your heads? You do a back-to-back comparison with your VN alloy heads versus standard cast heads, yet your flow on the alloy head is on the intake port but your flow on the cast head is on the exhaust?! LOL!!! Me personally would never ever use nor reccomend ANYTHING from Sydney Speed Suppies Nor there Ebay Seller ATRacing, performance comes at a cost, not by saving on imitations. In the long run spend the initial outlay for something better and it will save in the long run, performance doesnt come cheap especially if you want reliability Ive had 1st hand dealings with the listed above, and many mates who have aswell, and none of us will ever use SSS parts again. Good luck to them selling cheap imitations, tells you first hand that there only imitators copying what is a good product worth good money Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

ozturb6: If the kits are what you say they are, I propose an offer that will obviously benefit you guys. Supply me with one of these stroker kits for cheap, I will assemble it and dyno it for all to see, that way there will be no hiding the outcome, an independant result, what more could everyone ask for?

Hey Silver, You're my hero too mate! I didn't come here to sell you product and after all that has been said and done on this forum, I'm not really worried about what you blokes think. I can't see how a forum affiliated with Rocket Industries would want to push this anyway. You would have to agree that I'd be pretty sceptical about getting an unbiased opinion from you blokes. But having said that, man, I could probably get you a kit for nothing but the thing here is, Who are you? Are you a recognised entity? what are your true intentions? and does it really matter what you think of the end result?

and? you havent even picked up the problem. you've measured the flow of the INTAKE PORT (2.020 VALVE) on the alloy heads, and the EXHAUST PORT (1.600 VALVE) on the cast factory heads!
