You're right mate, it has made plenty of power with more to come, dont get me wrong. i think what i'm saying here is being misread by you. i get along with steve JETVL very well, and admire his car very much.
but i believe that the race wouldnt be a fair contest due to total differences in the cars. refer to my last post to see what i mean about changing shells and chassis.
no good having 1000rwkw if your trying to jam in onto the surface through a 12 inch tyre, and your mate next to you has 900rwkw through a 15 inch tyre. You're always destined to lose.
as you've just said, best of luck to all cars and owners involved, should be a VERY interesting year next year
Hope im not upsetting anyone or anything here
cheers
Kane

may have the power but that dont mean its gonna be able to put it down onto the track. more power just means more traction problems.
lol beat me to it kane...

its ok i forgive you flap but your exactly right about the power thing. Thats why i said dyno comp. Like other campers have stated many times at us, you cannot compare tubbed vs any other tyre. but if they want hit the track then im sure Steve's good mates will step up to the plate
its awesome, in the past you saw rotor after after rotor, now its going to be 1 vl after another at big meets!

problem is the only top 10 VL that comes out to play on a regular basis is the Rajab Racecar. would be good to see them all out on more regular basis, hopefully soon once Vas and Brescani get up and running

Agreed exbt1jet. Then and only then there can be no excuses from any and all of them as they will be all on large tyres but im sure you will still be constantly hearing ifs buts and whats if they cant produce the goods. I would be even inclined to say the cars of bresciani racing and omy11s would be a fair amount lighter than both the rajab and jpc racecars but both rajab and jpc are putting down strong times and mphs already and if they were to take some more weight out of them they would be absolute weapons and 7 second cars for sure.
Everyone always craps on "let the numbers do the talking"
Now your saying thats not what you want to do you want to have a dyno war...
At the end of the day its about which car is faster on the track so who gives a rats ass about a dyno reading...
I'll drive one you drive the other
We'll both have no experience in cars of such status. So it should be a fair race. ha ha

My dark horse for the quickest VL is 1stBoostn in his VL Calais. He will be the surprise packet for the race to quickest VL. But it should be fun to see. For the quickest RB30 powered car on the planet. Wait for Rigoli's Fully tubbed R32 Skyline powered by an RB30. That will be the quickest RB30 by far.

i think we should all get in a kombi and drive round for a few months and then when we get out hopefully all these cars would have been built and ran then we can get beers.
