PSI-EFI
3 good years of no service or check up, it all led up to a seal or pump something along the lines of that. giving way and smashed up my 3rd gear and damaging the top neck of the stall converter and that also had to be repaired. so i ended up with a full rebuild again.
haven't done anything for weeks now been getting small cash jobs. that i cant say no too ill try to get some updates soon

hello again fellers
since of a few months ago me and my partner have bought a house, just been a bit busy now not much has happened, as theres always a tidy up with a few things around the joint. but yes there has been some progress on the calais as i will be getting it ready for summer nats for the new year. ill be going up with SIroller ( mitchem )
few things so far. club plates, sunroof, and painted moulds, also i did polish my car and it came up pretty good. just a couple of snaps.
dont mind the state of the art green carpet but that will do for now. also paint starting to peel on the roof i am not so happy but the result came out good for the age of paint. pictures have not been edited at all there just off my galaxy note, ohh i brought some vx r8's for an everyday rim. too
i am in the process of spraying the rear calais black mould up top and soon that will be up too, always an imperfection after painting them as its my 3rd go at it.
gets frustrating after a while,
cheers
Selo

to use some sort of pin to hold the molds in place, i ended up using plastic forks, works great. thanks mate
front and back got a good clean up before fitting some bars and molds on . the gunk on the rear taillight got cleaned and the gap between the top moulds and tail lights got cleaned, also re-blacking the front center section. Touch up paint from autobarn $14.00 did wonders as i covered up all the revealed scratchers and bare steel bits that would prob rust,
but i do think the car did get a close door respray in some time of its life, as there is over spray in some areas. Rear L&R eyebrow moulds also sides and lower calais molds, as the original paint was revealed underneath you can see it in the polishing stages they were never taken off. You can see the line of the spray being revealed once again
sorry there is a lot of pics i did get carried away.
cheers

not sure with the wagons as me and mitch were trying to locate it on his wagon i think the aluminum roof racks may be in the way, maybe you could shorten them.

yeah im heading to the next chrome bumper meet, all ive been able to find
todays process
front bar is the the best so far as there is no gap between top moulds and bumper. took me a good day and a half for alignment 10mm here 10mm there, file that, washer here grind that cut this. to perfection. rear bumper was ok not too hard.
the door molds on the other hand was a bit fiddly, but i thought id take longer that i expected. i did use fiberglass lower calais moulds however they are quite ok but they need a lot of prep before paint compared to the originals as the painter missed a lot of small imperfection. but hey nothings perfect.
tape and sikaflex
