mate ,the only difference between a **** car and a good car is reliabilty when in stock form when well maintained.all the rest, power, looks, it all just depends on what you like.

15-05-06, 11:43 GMT+10#105 Engine is in the car now and running, went down the round yesterday, it just wheel spins and spins and spins, its running standard boost 6psi and we bolted a mod c4 to it. We raced my mates 12sec VR GTS and it kicked its arse by bout a car length so should be a 11sec car esay. Cant wait to see it at meremere.

And how much did the fabrication of the engine mounts cost? what was the total cost of the conversion it didnt seem to take too long at all.

tell him to bump it up to 10 or 12psi and fit an oil cooler (the oil cooler is nessary otherwise the oil will run at somthing like 130c) and he should have a monster of a thing just don't do it with the stock ecu or it will run like a dog
btw if he does try it with a stock ecu tell him to get a capa boost box and not to use a fuel cut defender as the ecu is f**king smart!

Definitely something worth doing if you have the time/skill/money/drive to do so. BTW this thread has more useless comments from idiots than almost any other I have seen on this forum in recent times.
So the RB26's in the R34's.... that are a only a couple years old.... are still 15years old....?
ya wha?
soz anyways.....
Still agree it is good to be original if ya got the $$$. And as everyone else said, keen to see some pics!
