RB20's are a not a very good drag engine, but i bet theyre heaps good for the track tho. It's a light engine for a moderatly light car, putting it into a heavier vehicle than what it came out of the Nissan factory as, kinda cancels out its advantage.

no RB's are light. Pretty heavy series of engines arn't they?

Good to see something different. I know the RB20 doesnt have a lot of torque down low but the midrange isnt too bad and the 4.11 diff gears will help it out a lot, even higher if possible, my R32 has 4.375 gears in the back and it is pretty good to drive. One thing about the RB20 is they are strong engines and you can rev the hell out of them without failure. Careful selection of parts will enable you to use your boltons on the hybrid engine you plan to build. The R32 RB25de head bolts on to the RB30e without modification so you will be able to keep your injectors, cams, exhaust manifold and so on. I have seen one of these engines with 300000 on the bottom end with the 25 head and a 30/40 turbo pull 306rwkw, need i say more.

Love the conversion mate. Good on you for doing something different. I made 251rwkw's on 15psi with an RB25 and minor bolt on stuff. RB20's aren't too far behind.. 1 really good thing that I loved was the reve range of the Rb's.. DAMN they rev!! Good on you anywayz. You should do a write up Greg Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well today he finished the cooler piping clamped it all up fully done. He has to put some brackets on the bottom of the cooler put the front bar back on, do the tailshaft, bolt up the clutch slave, hook up some power steering, hook up the aircon, exhaust and mod plate. Fark dogs rb20s sound soooo sweet out of the dump Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
