The moral of the story here is dont say a car is sold until a deposit is in your hand. Ive been burnt before the same way and had to sell a vs commodore for $12,000 because some c/head who couldnt give me a deposit told me they wanted it. I told prospective buyers it was sold, now i realise i shouldnt of said that. I put a deposit on a new car and then he ****ed me around for three weeks so i had to trade my $15,500 car in to the dealer and lost $3500 I think enough abuse has been said about this car, if the seller wants to start a new thread then go ahead and Brett A, i think its in your best interests to stay out of it if he does.
