Was undecided about what to do there but the side and back boards were in such bad shape they had to be fibreglassed up and covered with something. Was originally looking for a lighter colour to match the original but it looked too light, it's now darker than what it looks like in the photo. The rear floor section is about 3cm thick with fabric, insulation and sound deadening sheet. Now it kind of looks like it's supposed to be there for a Calais and not like the povo SL shortcut the factory took. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

VLTWhite1, where did you get the rear done and for how much? i would love to get my floor done like that as my current carpet slides with stuff on it and yeah, your wagon floor at the back looks excellent Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The fabric is something like what they use in the boots of the current Commodores. They fibreglassed up the side and tailgate panels and recovered them all. Wheel arches and the back of the rear seat was also done (complete with piping around the edges and down the side of the seat) and they made up a new floor mat with the same stuff and well as a bunch of insulation and some pretty thick sound deadening sheet. Sounds almost like a Calais sedan now rather than a rattly old wagon. All up was around $400 I think. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
