http://www.accordturbo.com/SydVl/viewtopic.php?t=177 Seems a bit Harsh that your club does not want to Promote the CT.com, yet is willing to come scalp members allso http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=20331 Quote from one of the founding fathers of the Sydney VL Club Quote: "whats the point? we got calaisturbo.com.au!" its a forum completely dedicated to cruising/events exclusively for sydney... not a general events for all of nsw/act... I think that summs alot up

yeh i think the whole point of the newy thing is its local for all us novacastrians... where as i am sure everyone would love to do some combined cruises down your way i think us being part of the sydney group is really missing the point of it.

We wanna start a Newy VL group affiliated to this CT site,we are looking for someone to organise us and set up a meet at a pub somewhere, someone recomended an east maitland pub but that seems a fair wayout espeacily for the newy people,I reckon Shortland hotel with it,s carpark out back to keep an eye on the cars with back room pooltables, any feedback on that?

Daniel is good at organising things, i agree with east maitland being a bit far out, how many people live outside newcastle besides scott and Daniel?? i dont care where it is, shortland is a bit of a hole tho lol, just my opinion

What exactly are we having a meeting for? Why dont we have it at a pub in Cessnock? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Does it matter if shorty pub is not state of the art,it,s got pool tables out back with window view of the carpark and panthers don,t.Its kind of central to the suburbs, plenty of car space, the beers good. The locals sit around the bar and do their thing and we could discuss our ideas out back. Most VLs are in newy not cessnock or maitland. If we get too many people we can chip in and use the function room, lets get this show on the road.

G&D for sure. I live bout 5 mins away from there. Not a bad pub and right next to Greenhills if you need to stock up on anything and has 2 petrol stations near it too.

The next cruz is the official one, I reckon we all team up and show em that newy is GOD, soon after that i may be organising another BYO BBQ day somewhere else.....If we all meet at a pub its just another reason for the cops to pick on us and pull us off....ummmm....over. The weather is warming up so i guess it will involve a beach and optional clothing....i mean swimming.... If a full on newy VL club does get running as i said earlier i will support it completely and wish the person luck who makes it happen. Its not one person that will make it happen, but it is the support and loyalty of all the participants, and we tried that b4 but there are also more VL owners showing up each day As for Sydney cruzes, post links in this forum and any that we all can manage, we should attend. After all we are all shooting for the same goal.
