i have been told a small peice of tin with some bog and just smooth it off but...??? i dunno any idea's
I had my lock removed by a crash repairer... he cut out a circular piece of metal and welded it into the lock hole, grinded it flat and painted it... may be a bit of bog as well... didn't see it b4 it was painted... only saw the welding from the inside of the door... just need to be careful of the arm of the locking mech that connected to the old lock... in mine it got caught and wouldn't lock the door. other than that it was a good idea.

bahahahahaha lol ok well i reckon a switch for the fuel pump is cheap and relitivley easy to setup......and a padlock on the t bar is a very good idea unless its a manual lol you could wrap a chain and padlock tightly around your clutch and brake pedal lol but in my car i have a switch on the pump a switch for the starter motor, a switch for the ignition and since mine is the auto i have the padlock on my t bar........ and personnly i dont think one switch is enough if they do find it they can just reef the wires out and join them together done* but if you have heaps of them in different spots i'd love to see them try and hold all of them at once i wonder if anyone has designed a stupid idea to put a switch on the battery terminal lol ha ha ha
if you wanted to get more technical you could run more "dificult" switches that only work if another switch is turned on so you have consecutive switches that have to be turned on in order but they take some brains to wire up .........something i dont have lol
cheers Paul

well what a friend of mine did is he had like 8 switchs on his dash for various things
fuel pump
water pump
thermo fans
ignition
starter motor
injectors
and others but he aranged them so instead of fliping them all down or all up to start the car
he had them all jumbled up so it was confusing for even him to start some times
what i did is i have some on my center console for thermo's and stuff but allso hidden ones as well

hmm thats a good idea you just have to remember which ones go up and which ones go down lol i know thermo fans are normally on a switch but for a security measure i think its a stupid idea they could turn them off an boil your car!!!!!!

As posted in another thread by me.
Design a killswitch for ur car, so when ur done at night, simply flick this switch and all power from ur battery is no longer accessible around the vehicle. This switch can be placed under the guard, behind the exhaust, in the engine bay, anywere on the exterior.
or if ur even smarter then the simple one-two at electronics, then design a small circuit board with a keypad so that u must enter a code to unclock the switch. simple stuff, just buy a kit from TANDY or ****-STIFF (**** smithh electronics)
Originaly came to my head from dad, off his GTS monaro, it never got further then our front lawn, but has had more then 10 break in attempts, dad once cought the bogans pushing the car down the driveway. dont know HOw they done it.. but that cars long gone now, has been for 10 years.
Simple idea that will save people from taking out batteries, getting messy, and worrying.
I have one on my VT, nothing SPECIAL although it adds that touch of knowing u can leave ur car in alice springs for a year and comeback with it in the same place.. maybe looking BARE and NAKED, but atleast the chassy wont move
edit
if people like i could askk dad to help me right a tutorial for this killswitch, (i dont personaly know how to do it myself, althought i get the general idea..) if people are interested in how to easily hookup this device, that could be made so easily with ordinary or even cheap materials from a shop.

I Recently Purchased A Set Of Lock Nuts For My Car From A Local Australia Wide Big Name Dealer !!!!! .............they Are All Numbered As You No....., So If You Loose One You Ring The Company With That Number And Get Another One Made Up !!!!! But I Made A Huge Discovery That The Dealership In This Case Australia Wide Didnt Even No......that All The Keys Are Exactly The Same And The Distrubter , That I Personally Phoned Addmitted To Me And Said (qoute) Do You Really Think That We Make Keys Up When Someone Looses TheM !!!!! All The Numbers Mean Nothing At All......i Couldnt Believe It !!!!!!!! .........unfortunatly I Cant Say The Name Of The Company I Purchased These Off On Here......but A Simple Pm I Will Tell You !!!!!!!! I Even Purchased Another Four Packs Off The Shelf And Shore Enough They All Fitted !!!!! They Have Yet To Remove These Lock Nuts

some car alarms have this exact style of keypad yet it can be overcome as can any system. eg: kill switches generally are wired to the same place as one another so hiding the switch is fairly useless
nothing stops a pro or just someone smart enough
2007 - 10 years = 1997, no GTO around then

Was watching a show the other night. They are now making clublocks with tazers in them. Cant remember exactly how many volts it was but it was a **** load. You get two warnings then the next time you touch it ZAP i hope they come to Australia.
