another reason not to speed with sum1 else in the car is if u crash ur reisking their life aswell and thats a really greedy thing to do, no matter how much they would egg u on. i still would speed on roads even if i agree on all that safety shyte but i'de do it safely, a long straight, smoothe road without many cars on it is acceptable to me and i've done 140 on one of those b4 and i would go faster if i go back on my own cause i know its fairly safe and if i crash and hurt myself bad its my own stupid fault and i'de face it cos i know the risks, the only real stupid speeders r people who take other with them or unexperienced people cos there is more risk and more 2 b lost

You won't drive it any faster or it wouldn't go any faster? Nice reminder was on the news yesterday, two 16 year olds in a Commodore, under the influence and speeding, straight into a tree and folded the car in the half. Poor familes

I hate people like u u think ur ****ing top **** and u won't crash. Now how old is at VL?? Nearly 20 years and now what do u think the suspension is like in a car that old. U have factory brakes well here comes brake failure if u have to try and stop. Ohh the crumple zones in VLs are so ****ing fantastic they keep people alive at 80km/h in accidents. No they don't and u reckon u would be alive after hitting something at that speed?? It isn't a ****in racecar. Nor are there sandtraps on the side of the road. U hit something u r ****ed. U do it along a nice straight highway. HA. Our highways are ****ed, who knows where there are going to be bumps or where that truck has dropped his retrad and u hit that. Say goodbye to mummy and daddy as ur not comming home tonight. Ur an idiot i hope u learn and don't kill anyone innocent ****wit Ha u got the need for speed. Do u know how much of a wanker u sound like. I feel like getting one of Petros' abortion bats and doing the common good a favour and make sure u can't drive again.

Extroana, have a think about a few things for a minute, will ya? VL Commodores do not have most of the active and passive safety features of new cars. They don't have airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, side impact protection, anti-lock brakes, boron reinforcing in the firewall and pillars, break-away front suspension and engine mountings and their bodies don't absorb or transfer crash energy away from the occupants anything like new cars. They don't steer, corner or brake as well and there's no way in the World they're safe at that sort of speed. At least that's what they were like brand new, 18 years ago. After 18 years of wear and tear and rust and metal fatigue and repairs (some good, some bad, as you'd know) and hundreds of thousands of kilometres, it's a bloody miracle they're still allowed on the road - In many countries, they wouldn't be. Don't get me wrong, I love mine, but unless I had every inch totally checked and tested by an automotive engineer, there's no way I'd drive it on the road at that speed. You might reckon you can control the car, but if you think you can control ANYTHING in the environment you're driving through, you're kidding yourself. At 200 k/h, if something appears in your headlights, you wouldn't even have time to get your foot to the brake pedal before you hit it. If you want to die in the middle of no-where surrounded by emergency service guys who don't really give a f**k about you while you scream you lungs out from the agony of your broken legs and slowly fill the floorpan with blood, then go for it, but don't go spreading the idea around on the Internet, ha?

- Sits on the road perfectly, the re-treads stick to the tarmac, the chopped springs allow for perfect travel, and the lowness of the car allows for perfect aero dynamics. lol. even if you don't have re-treads or chopped springs they still don't handle that well. Not many cars do at that..Oh well, you got shot down so.. Deal with it.

well when I was younger and stupid my old ladies would only do 198klm/hr it just would not click onto the 200. it probably needed air in the tyres or maybe a tuneup or something. anyway I tested quite a few times until one night I did it a bit too early in the night and had to move over to miss a car and ended up in some loose dirt/sand on the side and fish tailed it up the road and finally hit a power pole backwards and stuffed the car and myself for a while
