Gotta give much respect to aussie hiphop!!! Anyone who says its **** hasn't listened to it and given it a chance with an open mind! hilltop hoods, bias b, brat strut, koolism, Mass Mc, Downsyde, The Herd, Brothers stoney, Matty B ...... its all good. Once ya start getting into it you cant stop. American hiphop is good, but you just cant relate to it like aussie hiphop..

from the band side of things the list goes for ever... some favourites are: tool a perfect circle incubus silverchair one minute silence deftones silverchair spineshank the fauves (an outstanding band that in my opinion get no where NEAR the recognition they deserve) pearl jam nirvana soundgarden pennywise linkin park REM The darkness at the drive in not so rock, bands like lamb morcheeba Tricky massive attack lately though (about a year) i've getting into raves/clubs etc and gotten frustated that i've been missing out on this 'culture' lol, since i turned 18... some sick s h i t that i'm into atm is: hard nrg anthem, 4 and 5 hard kandy volume 3 anything by nik fish all the bass station compilation tomcraft ferry corsten pretty much anything with hard trance/hard nrg/hard house/prog trance involved. best dj's i've seen so far are jason midro, scott alert, compound, krash, mauro picotto, scott alien, master kaos and ofcourse, the awesome AJAX! what club do you melbourne guys go to? i went to krankin on the weekend again it was very good indeed can anyone recommend any in the rave scene? i've been to bass station and krankin so far, wanna go to hard kandy and bubble soon... oh, and you can't beat a big rave to - two tribes ruled, bring on godskitchen! these days im listening to black eyed peas and currently my most listened to song is phantom planet - california ... love the song, love the show quickenuf: my mate loves that song, he sings it at kareoke whenever he gets a chance.. he doesnt need the word either... freak

Been thrashing heaps of Infected Mushroom lately. Might dig it if you like the Prodigy. I bought The Wall on DVD this week... I can't say it enough but give Pink Floyd a listen if you haven't before... get Dark Side Of The Moon, get ripped off your tits and turn off the lights, put on head phones or a decent stezza, turn it up, it'll freak you the f.uck out... it really is a defining album... it was in the US Billboard top 200 for 13 years or something. Other bands may rock more, or be more catchy, but for pure creativity, lyrical content, and just plain immaculately crafted music... Pink Floyd just blows me away like nothing else. but right now...
