Spool -> VS IRS. its similar. basically, you need to remove the whole diff as such from the car, undo the retaining bolts on the side that hold the axles/half shafts in, then knock them out with a brass drift. from there- everything else is the same.

The collets are available seperately from Holden, but any good bearing shop should be able to supply them anyway.

OK, Coller and bearing removal. This is what I did... To get the coller off I cut 1/3 of the way through with a grinder. Then I used a SHARP cold chisel to cut the rest of the way through. To get the bearing off, i found that using a grinder is to risky as you can easily damage the axle and using a cold chisel is useless as the inner bearing race material is harder than a cold chisel. Save the hassle and go to your local garage and get the old bearing pressed off and your new bearing and collar pressed on. My bro and I did this at his workshop and it took all of 10 minutes. *Also their are two types of seals for the rear axle. One for disc brake rear ends and one for drum brake rear ends. Make sure you buy the correct ones* Burnout pics up soon Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
