maybe this is a stupid question but if we take our cars there and we dont compete, are our cars safe in the car park while we watch the action. also, is there any chance epa people or cops might be lurking about on the day?

parkem in the place where all the cars that are entering are cost you 10 bucks but its worthit

I have parked my car inside the gates most of the time.. it 'safer' than outside.. and you can easily keep a check on it if need be. Also remember that alot of people there are car enthusiasts, so hopefully the likelyness of vandlism, or theft is low. but still nowhere is safe!

Maybe you were at chapel st The reason these off street events are held is to promote legal drag racing.. if the cops and epa busted it all the time then the racing would not be at calder, instead, on the streets...
