Cheers guys :-) so close to having it back. I've recently bought a glide for the car and that'll go in wen/if the 33 box kisses death. Time will tell how it goes at the track. Dunno if il get it down to race b4 the Season ends tho as I still have to run it in then get it tuned etc. But yer. Also ordered a set of billets from show wheels for it about 4 weeks ago so should have them in the next 6weeks all going well. Hanging to cruise it bad.

Love the tank. Looks familiar ;-) haha. But quick q, going to change to braided lines? Also thinking of running same kind of filter setup to mine or something else in mind?

Il change to braid eventually, this was to just have it done. Won't need filters on the 044s as the walbro intank has a filter on it.

Ah cool makes a little more sense now haha. Was thinking the section feeding the 044's was part of the tank with internal baffles. Was trying to figure out the lines up top looks good tho Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the small silver filter, filters the fuel going to the surge tank then there is an inline filter in the feed line to the fuel rail

Yeap was thinking that just thought the surge tank was direct feed from the main. Mines setup that way and reduces the need for a lifter pump and the extra lines.

So for those that have me on fb will know and those that don't, well the car didn't have any oil pressure on its 1st startup on Wednesday, oil pump has been taken off and found it hadn't been greased up, aswell has oil galleries had dags, possibly from machining so sump had to come off and it all got cleaned out. Needless to say I was disappointed as for the money spent it shouldn't have happened but that's life.... So fingers crossed this week as the car gets put back together there will be no more issues! Major set back as I was meant to have the car back yesterday! A lot of thx go to Sean @ Adrenaline Performance & Fabrication for all his hard work and dedication trying to getting the car done in time. Just wasn't meant to be...

Man that tank looks deadly, like theres a stealth bomber wedged under your car.. What oil pump are you using on this man? Shame to hear about the problems but if theres one thing for certain with cars its that not everything happens the easy way

I'd only found out while the sump was off due to oil pressure issues that the engine builder never put a set in. All been sorted now as EVL HDT said, fingers crossed itl be started this week. ---------- Post added 03-05-12 at 10:53 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by Gotgate23 [View Post] hope it goes well mate, this was my friends old car from busselton, even in its old setup was the quickest car in busselton and i say the south west and the quickest car i have ever been in i cant wait to see it down the strip Cheers mate.
