Its works on the same principal as sleeveing a alloy block. The head is drilled with a special drill bit to within .004 of a thou, Then the head is then put in a hot tank to heat it up so the hole expands and the sleeves are put in liquid nitrogen to shrink them, a special paste is applied like liquid metal and the sleeves come straight out of the nitrogen and put in the holes, as the head and sleeves come back to normal room temp the sleeves expand and the head shrinks to make it an even tighter fit.
The reason they do this is to even out the clamp load on the head and so the studs dont bite down into the alloy giving you a fulse clamp load read out on ur torque wrench when tightning the nuts.

Nice, very nice. What water pump are you using? Also, what water pump are people using? Is there something better than a genuine replacement? Are people having trouble with them? Ive only had one let got, and I dont have temp problems, just askin.
Not that I know about. Im just using a standard one Jase! If your standard pump handles 9000+ RPM, max RPM mine will see is 8500, should be fine. Hope so anyway lol.

All I wanted was to be able to fit a 26x10.5, You can fit it under with out shortning the diff but its a tight fit. So the car has a 8"rim with a 26x10.5 MT, could probley fit a slightly bigger tyre but havent tried.

I'm pretty sure he would have a fair bit of stock man. I bought a couple of bits and pieces from his stand at c4c last year, great products
