ok you animals heres some pics.
had to work out how or wat to use for my windscreen washer bottle and went with this..
just need to rejoin the bottle with fibreglass and also glass the brackets on... havent bother mixing up any resin as will be a waste (ill do it at the same time as something larger)
i also fitted the drivers door handle too... i was dreading this job as it had to be exactly mimicking the passenger door, and had to get the door rod perfect. took some time (measure this measure again ) but it worked out good
and just a pic of how it looks at the moment
got an RDO tommorrow so hoping to spend all day on it, and hopefully get closer to glassing the new doors (heaps to do though)
and as always thanks for the interest... dave

Looking good dave, i like them rims same as [Kalais6] are you gonna paint the washer bottle etc black or body colour so it blends in and is more invisible? those door handles must have been a pain in the ass lol you got the vz rear door handles aswell? keep it up that last pick looks great even before paint

thanks guys... thats why i took the pic i like it too
i will paint the washer bottle black just to hide the fibreglass but am thinking of building a full length glass panel to cover that entire area... with a small hole just for the washer bottle lid.. it will be painted body color too (and i wonder why its been 6 years already)
yeah the door handles werent fun.... but if it was easy everyone would be doing it.... and yes i do have the same for the rear doors.. dont even wanna think bout them yet... still have to design the trims for there.
anyway shed is calling ill post some pics tonight.
thanks again guys dave

thanks zac
ok guys had a massive day out there today so have heaps of pics for yas...
i finally got my stuff from hong kong
15" digital photo frame
and as always pulled it apart to customize it.. and work out what parts i did and didnt need
seperated the lcd from it so could start flush panel for it.. reomved the rears switch and speakers and buttons (will use the remote for it)
started on the wood work
then put a spine on each and angled them

then i got out my whore vl
then i masking taped all around the door seal and piping for a flush fit
THEN GLASS YAY!!
i then closed the door while the glass was still wet... which will push it to where it has to be to fit inside the seals and piping
the plan is to wire the lcd to the door switch off a diode and a relay so when the door is opened it automatically comes on abd starts running through photos of my car build (it also plays movie ie dyno runs )
i have to run a usb cable through the door and put a thumbstick in the kickpanel so i can update it whenever i want... each door will run indepentantly of each other (only the screen on the open door will switch on)
i have to admit i will be smiling all week... i am very happy with the result so far (just have to do it all again for the pass side)
huge post guys hope you can read it all
cheers dave

Hahahahahahahahaha thats the best idea ever.. ive never seen any point in lcd in doors even to look cool since they are always on and you cant see em but the whole open door activation makes it so cool lol.. so if its a picture frame then wat are you gonna be able to play on it? will it slide show picks or the car and/or its production while at car shows or can it play mp4 vids or avi's or wat ever?
