picked up alll my suspension today and ordered braided hoses for the rear end. yipee! also my brakes are ready. just gotta pick them up and start reassembly. so its all uphill from here. ---------- Post added 06-10-11 at 22:25 ---------- braided hoses were just a few bucks under $280 for all 3 rear end hoses PBR pre-fabbed ordered into repco. sharon @ repco ferntree gully has been a champ as has cindy at PBR spare parts assistance. definitely worth just jumping on the pbr website, getting a phone number and calling these guys and girls. much easier than dealing with knuckleheads at autobarn and supersteep.

haha. wait until springnats. I'm not silly enough to do skids on public streets and if i was i wouldn't take photographic evidence! do i see that you have status's aswell? ever keen on selling be sure to hit me with a message with price / rim sizings first. i'd love some 18"s. I remember seeing your wagon years back near my work in moorabin. ---------- Post added 23-10-11 at 12:23 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by Andy-30L [View Post] ever since i saw 'aerobr' ive always loved momo status. would love to get ahold of some for a future project or my daily. aerobr was mint, Chubby also wore them in an early incarnation. i seem to remember a walkinshaw mockup with harlequin paint out the front of the pizza store in shepparton wearing a set when i was like 15. the owner was a douche when i asked him about the car but damn what a rim. always loved them as a kid. yeah he's a nice bloke (damon) and he has had those things for ages. interested to see how they sell. i could probably buy them at the 1500 price but i def don't have liquid cash for the 2500 and rent! the kebab sign was an xmas present from a long gone girlfriend, sourced from hard rubbish. it has lived there ever since.

Mitcham, did you paint your discs (ie the surface that contacts the pads)? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Doesn't matter I he did, it will just rub off.. Some manufacturers paint primer on their new discs to prevent corrosion in storage..

yeah i did, its just overspray from painting the centre and the seides aswell. it'll burn off (already has) done it before. just squeaks for a while. i'd rather have paint on my discs than tape residue. ---------- Post added 27-10-11 at 12:08 ---------- the locker is all properly installed now and it ratchets like a champ. it doesn't stay locked when turning at all. very very happy thanks to "VIC Diffs" in Mitcham. just google vic diffs mitcham and you'll find them. I'll get a video up soon of the noise it makes. pretty loud racheting but no tyre squeak meaning shouldn't be a problem r/w wise.
