Great work man the car is coming along well, can't wait to see the finished product. The red and grey go really well together, I reckon the series 2 seats with the solid head rests would of made the car look a bit classier than the series 1 seats but then again thats just my opinion Good Stuff!!! Jacko Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It was featured back in Xtreme Holdens Issue 2 or 3 I think. Has come a long way since then and it's not done just yet. Thanks for the compliments too man, and I think I've found a set of 4.11s. The diff should be built by next week that means Quote: Originally Posted by qic88 Great work man the car is coming along well, can't wait to see the finished product. Jacko Thanks Kyle. The solid head rests would be good, you're right, but these seats just came up at the right time for the right price. I might seat if I can track down some head rests of get some trimmed up or something, for now I just want to see it on the road! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Haha yeah man no doubt you will be killing to get it back on the road. I thought that might of been the case with the seats, but ya can never knock back a good deal at the right time. Jacko

Thanks a lot dude. Jack and I will be driving it to Melbourne Cruise for Charity so make sure you rock along to that. As my masculinity-impaired friend pointed out, yes, it is a straight RB25. When the car is said and done we'll get some proper studio shots in the work studio and post them up Quote: Originally Posted by vlwagz awsome work man. should get gas struts for the bonnet would of made it alot easier when getting the motor in and out. I've toyed with the idea but dismissed it for a number of reasons. While I do like how pretty they look I don't like the fact that they can reak havoc with panel gaps and bonnet alignment. They also never lift as high as the factory bonnet stay which would **** me while working on the thing. This time around bonnet height wasn't an issue as the motor went in from underneath, however once the underbonnet setup is taken care of a set of gas struts may be on the cards. Thanks everyone for their feedback and replies, makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Axles and spool rocked up today, 4.11s should be here by the end of the week. Thanks heaps jetgm6, can't wait to finish putting it together. Will post up a few more pics in the coming days. The tail lights are in, the head lights are being refurbished, the plenum should be here by the weekend and the car is getting wired so it'll be as close to a complete car as we can get it. Then it's out of our hands: *sunroof place for the new leccy sunroof *trimmers for the headlining and a good steam clean of the trim *Plazmaman for the intercooler pipes *Maatouks for the dump pipe and maybe even a tune if we ask Anthony nicely *Pedders for a complete suspension rebuild All with two weeks to go

Yeah man you're not wrong, it's the good gear. Suspension wise we've had all the undercarriage components powdercoated and everything is being replaced. Switching to a coil over front end with adjustable sway bars front and rear. It'll all be new, I'll post up pics of what goes in Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
