Correct but that car started life as a Sport. there were a few Sports and also a Bathurst Aero model with the IRS. I think it might of been a 5.6 stroker Bathurst, there was a couple of white ones and a couple of them were called Sandowns but that's not one of them.

Out of HDT 12-04-1987 - Started its life as a White N/A Executive then converted to a White Director as a development car. It's now is a Silver Slate AERO. On another forum it's known as "The Chameleon" given its had many identities. Dropped off my list when I filtered on my spreadsheet. Can't forget this one! I.R.S decal on the boot from my reference pic. As a side interest point Dave Whitehead (Brock's right hand man if you don't know the name) has mentioned in the past that this was probably Brock's fav car and "considered it his baby". She underwent three engine and transmission swaps, then had IRS added and finally a change of colour. ---------- Post added 21-06-11 at 06:18 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by Boyracer [View Post] Anyone have a build number for this Bathurst magazine car at all? Same car featured in Modern Motor as well. It's after 4200 for sure as it's a VL Bathurst. Signatures came in the 4100's during late 1987. Then after that in 1988 came the Bathursts, Sandowns, Bathurst Aero's and I'm also assuming the Mt Panorama. 4230 is a VL Bathurst (blue) so I reckon around this number for sure. I of course exclude CUG395 from this statement. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

it's a 4.9 V8 and 5 speed. not injected but for some reason has the EFI style fuel filter under there.

Is more likely that Sin was referring to the Sport that i mentioned earlier rather than #3530 as the Sport was the car well known in the Club scene for many years. The Plus Packs and some other Brock VL V8's had upgraded fuel systems that used some parts from the fuel system of the injected cars. Corsa
