Mickey - you car looks really mint but IMO the engine would be nicer if it had the correct hose clamps in various places, no painted gold fuel rail Etc. and black temp sensor plug changed.

thanks for your comments Laggy6, i'm happy with the engine bay and the subtle changes i have made...there will always be people who don't like bits and pieces of other peoples cars and on the other hand there are guys and girls that like it as much as i do, those differences are what make this a good forum. thanks for ur input into the thread!

Craig, Have you had to change over the past, electrics such as fuel pump, starter, afm or alternator? I'm the second owner of mine and as far as i'm concerned the only thing the first owner did change from factory spec were the mudflaps.

Surprisingly, with almost 290,000km's on it, I've only ever replaced the AFM, CAS (x3) and alternator (it had the Hitachi one which I have set aside to put back again one day). Everything else under the bonnet is original and both fuel pumps keep humming away. Bit scary really. Just waiting for any one of them to drop any day.

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I was going to put up a post on Saturday but here's where she's at now...and no, I'm not putting the SL lights back on it just yet. Makes it look horrible !! Still going like a train. Clocks up about 700km's a year and driven about once a month. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
