Maybe next year, if you are not happy with the standard of the VL in the Elite Tent then one of you should put your car forward for the Pavillion? Quite often there is a lot of b**ching about the Pavillion cars but not all that many of these voices who would be willing to let their car stand up and be counted for Elite Pavillion selection. Or, why not just make a phone call to the MV organisers, from our experiences they are very receptive to feedback.
We had two cars in the tent (and have done two years ago too) and from our experiences the cars are selected solely on their merits.

just because youre critical of where another car was placed, or even entered, doesnt mean u'd consider yours of even the same standard ffs. for example my red calais is definetly NOT going to be a "show car" im not intending to make the engine bay 100% clean, just normal. the car is most definetly just focused on power/speed..... thats where i hope itll make up for the lack of a nice bay and "sick whatever" lol
"opinions are like arseholes, everyones got one"
but after seeing pics from all sorts of other forums.. jeeeeeez lol, id be pretty pissed paying to see a riced up car (import or holden/ford) with nothing more than sh*t rims and some minor interior/cosmic garage...
burnouts....

Peter Pike was indeed very receptive (and in most cases agreed) to our feedback, so thanks for the words of wisdom
What I was getting as was I dont believe the car was "Elite" worthy, but it definately had a place in the show. Just because I have that opinion does not mean I feel my car would be better suited to the Elite pavillion, as I am well aware that it wouldnt.
Regardless there were a couple of stunning cars in that tent, the bright Orange EH definately stuck out.

I think as VL enthusiasts we were expecting an immaculate VL in the elite pavillion and it was but had a few minor imperfections.
How come you didnt enter you VL in Motorvation Kyle? i reckon its worthy of the Elite pavillion man your calais turbo is immaculate

Nah no way man. I had a heap to do, not enough time and not enough cash. Car was never gonna be ready just to enter, and I'd never enter it in the Elite hall

hey look its like my daily... but way hotter!!! damn those guys behind the 2JZ calais know how to make a nice calais turbo
corris ride from behind.. trying to skid weak!
and this car.. i dont like the airbrushing, as its tacky imo
but this car seems tuff and looks clean as... did it used to have plates HSV-DLUX or sumthing like that before? i remember seeing it on a cruise when i took my red calais out once... **** it sounded insane and does good skidmarks..
