ive made 243rwkw on 14 psi with a smallish lumpy none turbo cam. i dont plan on running any more boost any time soon. - would i be looking at a worth while gain if i changed to a lumpy turbo cam. - would it bring my et's down ( 12.8 @ 114mph) - would it be better for the motor Cherrs Ricko. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

dude, its stock VLT with 6 methenol injectors.. but still pics and dyno sheet are the proof.

DUDE he has mentioned it, stock ECU, stock Injectors, 6 extra injectors running methanol, how farkin hard is it to understand? I've seen this car on the rollers and on the street, I'm running his old hi-flow which made around 250rwkw before the new turbo, he is no **** talker.

LMAO. knew this wouldhappen if scoot got on here.. and I remember chattin to him bout it one day.. just because someone says something a bit left field does not mean they are talkin crap.. it means that u dont need an aftermarket computer to make big power.. didnt Cgmfly's bro make some pretty impressive power running a standard computer and some extra injectors aswell? Also.. because he ran 120mph does not mean a happy dyno or incorrect figure, it means he was running some tyres that werent obviously hooking up.. its always the way some bloke runs a bit down on mph.. people say a few sly remarks.. the following run they are up where they should be and everyone assumes more boost or more power, could just be they are using some slicks this time lol.

well only manage at 13.001 but i still had auto troubles shifting 2nd into 4th so bit of room for improvement i'm hoping have to wait 3 weeks before i can race again, hope it doesn't blow up in that time

hey guys been reading this forum word for word and loving it. im just starting an na to turbo conversion and wouldnt mind sum tips from you guys cos it sounds like im in the same class as u guys cos im definatly not spendin $1000's on a bottom end lol! i just brought my engine for 50 bucks! and the guy gave me a free sr 2 block! im gna acid dip the block to clean her up cos its full off rust, then its gettin clossed up and i start with everything else wat shud i do nxt or is there sumthing else i shud do to the bottom end? ........im goin 2 calder this friday nite are any of u guys takin ur cars?

update - Ive taken my head to be recoed n shit, then puttn the big cam in.. at this stage im not sure if i want to stay highcomp, since ive taken off the head i might use one of those thicker gaskets.. it will all still be on a stock n/a bottom end but compression will be lowered lol..

Highly recommend the .073" gasket, its not too low, still in the mid 8's compression, and good insurance. 6BOOST

*joins the hi comp thread* just picked up a candy apple red VL 5spd exec, s2 calais interior etc, bumpers etc getting painted atm, have complete standard turbo setup, with FMIC etc sitting here waiting!!!!! ill bolt it all on for now but ill be upgrading most bits and pieces very quickly! ive been there n done it all b4, this will be the 9th vl between me and the misses!
