I like Skylines, I just don't like 33 GTST's because every ****er has one and most of them look stupid. Some remind me of a whale, depends what sort of bodykit it has, though.
R32 GTST's are getting older, they have a **** RB20 and still arent all that cheaper then an R33, so that would probably explain their popularity.
who really cares... if it wasnt for nissan we simply wouldnt have the 30t that first started the vl turbo scene...these forums probably wouldnt exist and the vl wouldnt be known as one of the best street cars in aus... skylines IMO are nice if not over done....kept visually stockish they are nice... with some mods they go sweet...most ppl bag them because they cant afford a decent one... an r33/34 gtr v spec is one of the sweetest cars out... they hammer...and there not so common as compared to the gtst's.... if u hate skylines.. thats great... if u dont then cool.... who really cares? i hate vr/vs's.... maybe we should start a forum taking the piss out of them cause "I" dont like them... save your breath gentleman

to answer the thread question, I dislike them because of the same reasons why everyone else that hates em, and I don't wanna be driving a car where people will be making topics about why they are hated..exactly that.
itz such a hoon car, even fully licenced owners are hoons with these cars.
and itz such a hassle to own.
Yes they are very well built, good performance cars, but itz downgraded by the majority of people that own them.
but the same could be said for VLs, but I love em..I just dont like the part where fulli sick muzzas hang out at Maccas every weekend and do nothing..i dont see the point or any fun in it at all.

I think the RB30 is a fantastic motor, and it was a great job by Nissan, but I hardly see the point in kissing their ass.
If anything the VL Turbo was the car that brought alot of the interest in Jap turbos into this country. Not saying it was the first, but it definitley antagonised it. Is it any wonder alot of Skyline drivers, started off driving VL Turbos?
So all this "If it wasn't for Nissan, the VL wouldn't be nothing" rubbish, think how much exposure the RB30ET got when Aussie hoons and goons realised how much potential it had, putting it on the Aussie car performance map, and how big the Turbo seen has gotten over the last 18 years or so.
