short term... front sump and bellhousing so i can trial fit the engine ( i know it fits lol, but id rather do work in the bay ie mounts before its painted) then will buy manifold and get the plenum modded so the cooler piping and dump pipe can be tacked up... im planning to run the engine as a carby style setup with a MSD CDI an boost retard and jaycar programmable ignition as the engine has distributor and the gas research, so seems the easiest way to go! so will run all the wiring etc for that **** and get a torque converter to suit somewhere in between will get the bay and panel work done, then a tune so still alot to go lol, but i dunno, just doesnt feel like that much i figured around $3k would see the car driving, i think

got the front sump off the ol ebay, and also scored some stock pistons from a GTE engine. so will be handy to have them as backup, staying true to the ghetto nature of the build lol. have to pay rego ont he daily in the next week or 2, so that will eat up funds i wanted to use for the bellhousing getting closer, as long as kanes utes still unfinished, i wont feel too bad about the time it takes me to do stuff lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

somewhat lol have moved the gas lines over to the otherside of the car, prepped the bay for welding, changed steering rack over to non power assisted....bout it really the k rudd cash came through last night, so will be ordering my bellhousing and sorting out a welder so i can get stuck into the rest in middle of all this, boost asked for photos and info for one of their small 'in the build' sections, felt a bit embarresed sending through photos of the current state, but they said its all they needed lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lol VH hasnt moved i have only a few more panels to do in the bay, but yeah, been playing with the EB i need to drive something boosted! im going to put my tax return into the VH which will be enough to finish the bay and engine mounted to trans and mounted in the bay. i was just looking at a pic of it and it made me a bit sad was so clean at this point, just needed paint in the bay and the racked strut tower fixed Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
