But having said that, man, I could probably get you a kit for nothing but the thing here is, Who are you? Are you a recognised entity? what are your true intentions? and does it really matter what you think of the end result? Mate for someone who's not really worried about what people think on here, you sure have gone a funny way about it. I am as unbiased and independant as they come mate, everything that is done to my cars is done in-house, I am not tied to any one workshop. In case you didn't realise, it would cost me time and money from my pocket to setup 1 of your kits, so I am not at all phased if you said no, its no skin off my nose. But I do have a lot more creditibility to my name than you do and am known in the car community, that's all you really need to know my friend. There has been almost 3,000 views on this topic alone, I wonder how many of the people that clicked this link were thinking of buying stuff from you but have now been turned away? So far the only end result has been a lot of negativity to your business, I don't think anyone has had anything positive to say at all? I gave you the opportunity to potentially change that but you have obviously weighed up your options and concluded that supplying me with a stroker kit will honestly reveal to everyone the durability and longitivity of the product - something that would have a negative impact on yourselves once and for all...?

They are flow figures for the alloy head only, intake and exhaust. Why would they compare the flow? and where does it even state it?

true, i did start out building my combo as stock stroke, so i have a forged crank, vn rods and forged pistons, massive solid cam twin carb tunnel ram with twin 650dp holleys, 2 holley blues, yella terra dash 3's and all associated gear to make that **** work so ive already spent a little bit, and if i was to go and buy the whole lot again i think my misses would castrate me, wich is why i was so interested to hear good things about the sss cranks as i would only need to use the crank and all my other gear would work with it i duno, i wanna go stroker but i also dont want it off the road for another 2 years, needless to say i wont be buying the sss crank without confirmation from atleast one well known entity

I havent looked at this thread for a while, too busy with other things. Mate i dont take offence to anything anyone says on these things. Your opinion is your opinion. All i can say is I am having fun in my ride. If anyone on this thread is from Darwin you may have seen me getting around. I drive a gunmetal grey LX SLR 4 door. Its now got a full flair kit on it painted black. If you ever see me out and about dont hesitate to ask for a look. If its the right time and place ask me to take ya for a quick spin. I dont mind. Then maybe someone will see that these kits are'nt to bad. But make your own choice. Like the others are saying you can get a brand name kit for the same price. Just another thing. How come Pro Comp/rpm usa gear is so big in America. There stuff seems to get used a bit. The yanks would'nt use somthing that was crap. They are the leaders in our scence. Skidmarx, if you ever do go to a 355 and you want to get rid of your forged 308 crank, let me know. I am looking at putting a warm 308 in my other torana and would just like to keep the stock stroke.

I can tell you there roller rockers are ****e .a good mate of mine had them in his vortech blown VS 5.0 and these guys recomended them too him telling him they were the ducks guts, just out of chance that no major damage was done because he pulled down the engine again too go for a bigger set up popped off the left rocker cover as he started doing this and found heaps of little needle bearings in the sump and above the head. He took them back and they said we have had a few fail now after they told him how good they were . and he said i don't care all i want is a refund as they were not old at all and he had no intention of using them in his new combo as they are ****e and the only agreement they would come too is replace the one that stuffed up. He now uses yella terras and personnally i'd stay away from there ****.

(No theyre not dumb, they are probably just alot older than us... 30+ years old)

Hi, was reading the February 08 edition of Just Parts and at pages 102 and 103 Pro Stroke have a huge advert. They are advertising their kits and other parts, but i was particularly suprised to see the the following: "pro-comp 4340 forged I-beam conrods" at page 102. and under crank shafts "series 9000 cast Pro Comp stroker light weight crankshafts" at 103. I take it this means they use procomp gear in their kits. Dont know what this means to any of you out there but i just thought i would post it as everyone seems to regard pro-stroke highly. What cranks do they normally/alwas use? PS I am not slandering or defaming pro-stroke.

In fact, Streetcommodores forum is a good place to research SSS/AT Racing/Pro Comp
