well it seemed that the headgasket had gone yes i tried to re use the $550 tomie one that was only a few months old but didn't seem to work so i used the head gasket that been lying around the shed for the last 3 years from my gasket kit, torqued the head down to 100nm, put water in it, backed it out onto the road and it proceeded to do a skid so seems to be fixed for now Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well peoples after many many years as u can see i've finally got the car running well and managed an 11.672 at 117.8mph on Saturday night I know that's not as fast as alot of people are going, but between my friends and a limited budget i've got there, the car was only making around the 300hp mark on the dyno 2 hours before it ran an 11.8 of the trailer. this is also with the same NA bottom end i've had for the last year! I'm hopping founds permitted that i can get the auto rebuilt so i can use the transbrake and hopfully pull a couple of 100's of a second off and maybe get an 11.2 - 11.3 out of it it's doing a 1.8 60 ft at the moment, hoping to get that down to maybe a 1.6 power permitting here's some photos
