Quote: hahahahahahaah i laughed out loud when i read that. Today working on an alfa at work changing a coil over drop my snap on allen key which lands somewhere on the engine tray. **** **** ****. Put car on hoist engine tray off ended up being in the fan shroad. 1 hour later. Sometimes i wish i had $5 allen keys so it could of stayed there. Smashed a carnival yesterday at work that had 2kms on the odometer. Brand new car which i reversed into the fence. Put a kia pregio into the wall at work when the latch on the tailgate was ****ed and it swung open. being a van use your side mirrors so i didn't realise. Needless to say there was a mild crack with a loud ohh ****. lol thats pretty harsh dude, funny though. also very funny about the front seal for the falcon, some people....

Refitting the bottom half of the inlet manifold and the injector rail and hadn't covered the inlet runner holes. So after fitting all the bolts for the manifold I was fitting the bolts for the injectors and dropped one into one of the inlet runners. Lucky the valve stopped it from dropping into the cylinder!!!! Took 3 hours to get it out with a magnet on a string!

LOL spray painting always throws up a few good stories... I had a full mixing cup of paint for my car, and I put it down on the top of my compressor so I could go and get the spray gun ready. I had the gun connected, and I gave it a few squirts to get any dust out of the pot. Compressor kicks in, vibrates enough to knock the whole 800ml of pre-mixed paint all over the compressor and on the floor before I could run back and save it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

This one goes to my old man: Were getting ready to spray the car, had the paint can open ready to mix with thinners. The lid was just resting on, he walks away, comes back, decides to read whats on the tin. Tips it sideways, lid comes off...there goes most of the paint, all onto the table. Oh yeah. Then there was me, standing in the garage when he was spraying...he had a full ventilated mask **** to protect him....i had my shirt coller.... Idiot of the Week Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Moral, never get under a car that is only supported by a jack, and a least a jack and stands, if you take your wheels off, you should slide them under the car on the side sill so if it does fall off, your not dead underneath .....

I remember working at a mates workshop when i was about 16 (long time ago) and i was told to pull down this stuffed 300zx motor. I was undoing something and dropped a bolt down one of the inlet runners. I was ****ting myself as i didnt know what was going on with this motor, but went up to the boss and said i ****ed up. Id much rather him teasing me than stuffing a motor!

i gave my mate my old calais wheels which were pretty bald, i told he should go get a wheel alignment done cause his steering was rooted, anyways he goes to the tyre place and they try to con him into buying new tires, long story short guy says $500 for new tires onto your mags, and my mate says wtf are mags :P

the most stupid thing i have done so far, my old vlt i sold to genki had warped rotors so he asked if i could put new rotors on for him did it all told him to take it for a test drive and said it might make some noise as the pads need to bed in, he came back and said its making a noise and i told him its just the pads haven`t worn in yet,so i told him to do some firm braking on his way home, anyway i ended up putting one brake pad back to front so it mangled the new rotor, something so stupid i don`t know how i managed to do it lol.

i have been over at cameron aka jet-6tc working on his vl calais, he dosnt have a jack!!!!!!!! lol so the most foolish thing i did was use a screw driver to turn the holden jack to get under his car to undo the exhaust, had no other things to stop the car falling off the jack and you dont want to put a set of 19's under a car, might scrach them lol tim
