I used painters green masking tape. Was on for 4 days and come off with no marks. Heres my TYC light after 5 Coats of Nite-Shades and 2 Gloss, pic doesn't really do justice but i'll attach a pic of what mines the same too with naked eye. Mine; A nice VL; Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hi guys I want to tint my taillights but i'm scared to becuase i don't want to make them blac so you can see them just so they look nice and dark without being over the top. Also this is a dumb blonde question u do paint on the inside of the tailights don't you Also how do you tell if the light will still shine through the covers becuase i don't want to have to but new ones LOL LOL It's nightshade i need to buy from autobarn right? Do i need to sand the inside of the lights or do you think just give it a good clean? Any suggestions on how many lights coats of nightshades i should apply before i should wait and test it out? Any why the need for clear coat if u can't see the paint? Thanks alot for your time!! Cheers Rick. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks alot for ya help! Rick. Im wondering the same thing, my VP Calais tailights look awful and i just wanted to know if i can tint them by painting them from the inside. Im guessing mine faded as most VNs-VPs and some idiot tried to repaint them and match the original colour, very very shit job as you guys can see. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
