I seen your car getting the front mount at hi-flow, that piping looked mad, nicely welded!!! But I was having trouble trying to work out how it went, I would love to have a look at it on the car. I've got a dodgy boost tap laying around if you want it, it doesn't look anything special but it'll do the job.
Pretty mad illegals on Thursday night, but the only vl out there was Kaylenes and it still has the slipping clutch, come on guys bring em out to the highway for some fun. 11 second gtr limiter launches are mad to watch!!!

Foney - I'm not sure what that would be ... Does it make any funny grinding noises??? If not then I'd say it'd be more clutch/master/slave related. Have you got an aftermarket clutch? I'll give you a call tomorrow when I wake up and i'll come and have a look at it. It might be time to upgrade to an auto :-P

Wow sounds expensive FONEY.
You'd better get that fixed before the street meet/cruise or everyone will beat you.
If you were keeping the car and full manual auto would be sweet but I don't suppose you would want to spend any more money on it in your situation.
Dean is you box ready yet.
I've got that catch can already. Those who need a catch can I can send you a pic of what they're like. $55 and $5 for overnight delivery. TMS sells the exact same ones for $100.

Hey, whats the difference between an atmospheric and non atmospheric one? Like, the one on Qfftap's car doesnt have a filter, rather a cap.
Any big benefits?
Btw - Thats BL Foney, hope its not anything too expensive!

A non atmospheric one just puts pressure back into the sump so I don't see any benifit except blowing your oil dipstick into your bonnet. The idea with these as far as I'm aware is the can catches the oily air blowing out of your rocker cover at high revs/boost and the filtered air goes to atmosphere and the oil collects and eventually you can see it filling up in the level gauge. Tiny amoun t unless your rings are ****.
If you don't run something similar with a boosted engine, the oily air going back into your inlet manifold reduces the detonation threashold and pinging occurs much sooner.

So all in all, I would be safer to buy an atmospheric one?
Or does it only apply when boosting in excess of say.. 15-18psi? Or is boost totally irrelevant?

Sorry I didn't get around to coming to look at your car today brentin, got sidetracked helping Matt take off his turbo and doing strandies in a friends 32 gtr. What are you doing tomorrow?
Hi-flow is definatly the place to go if you want a good deal on an exhaust, intercooler or pretty much any custom work. My car took just over a week to get a full 3" inch mandral exahust, including dump and modifying the drop tank, screamer pipe and a custom gearbox crossmember, reasonably priced considering the time and effort it would have taken. Thanks popeye!
I got my catch can at the right price, its smicko, colour coded and everything.
