Well, I don't believe it, finally get the car working nice and then the luck genie strikes,
Drove around on sunday down the highway and I think my thermostat jammed, car temp goes through the roof and the end result would be a suspected crack in the head now. Unbelievable, so I definantly won't be out on the cruise now, or racing for that matter, Can't believe it,
I'm going now to cry myself to sleep

Yeah nothing you can do really, just fix it and go from there. If this is the only thing that has gone wrong in over a year than you've probaly been pretty lucky neways, as with that much power on tap things tend to break.
I've got a feeling it might be a head gasket but don't quote me, happened to a friends car not long ago. Did you lose much water when you over-heated it? Check the radiator for signs of milky looking oil, and also take the oil filler cap off and look in there for signs of a milky looking substance, all signs of a headgasket. I bet its running pretty rough at the moment aswell...

Hopefully only a gasket, oil was milky this arvo, still had plenty of power though so maybe just a gasket
