I had a good time at the nats. Second year this time and i drove my car down with 4 other mates. Unfortuantely got done on the way back for being exactly 15km/h over the speedlimit. Cops jumped out from behind a bush when they heard me comming So i finally get 2 more points 3 days before summernats since i got my green P's and had been on 1 point for the last 6 months. I last 2 days and im back on 1 point again till june Laugh or cry???

and never bother driving down either aye Johnny, bloody cops u'd think that the one w-end when the NATS are on they'd go easy on defecting cars, i'm not against them being there for checking ppl's speeds and performing RBT but fark give the guys with mod'ed cars a break... It really takes the fun out of the w-end not too mention the fines and defects that come with it....
I can never remember the last time they defected a ****box datsun 120y that's got rust everywhere. but they see a car thats been looked after but happens to have big flashy wheels, and they go to town on your car!
i got defected in goulburn, it was silly of us to even turn into the ****hole fly infested place (no offence to any locals but when you have a bad experience somewhere, you tend to remember everything that happened and i have the ****s too) and i got stopped for an RBT. the copper gave me my rbt, did his necessities on my car, but they ignored the rest of them that were pulled in and only focused on mine. is it not right to hate the pricks.
i go past the rta, get it cleared and the counter person couldn't stand the ****heads himself.

GMH-30L Goulburn cops really are ****heads.
They know that there are people going down to nats for fun, they know that people have put endless amounts of money into there car and yet they are more then happy to go over a car and get every little thing.
When I drove down, we lost our mates and drove into the truck inspection bay to wait for them in there car (I was waiting in the on ramp for it) and I saw a cop escorting a datsun ute in. The cop told him to drive in and came over to our car, we explained that we where waiting for a friend and he said it was ok, as we where leaving I looked down and saw about 5 cars, one was up on jacks with all the wheels off and a cop shaking the struts, I could only imagine what defects they got him for.
To make things worse, dads mate was telling us about what they where doing, people bring down cars on trucks, they where pulling over the trucks that had car's with numberplates on it and making them get the car off the truck to defect (if it has a plate it needs to be registered, which means you can defected it still) if what he said was true its a dog act.
Oh well thats what the goulburn police are like, they have been making a killing off speeding/other fines on the Hume for years.
So a hint to all, if your going to tow your car down, take your plates off first
all i say is when u go down to the nats is to never speed as u will get done, hell i told atmo that, i go "mate dont speed whatever you do cause you will get done" but no he didnt listen and he copped anal hehehe told ya mate :P
other then that when i was in my mates vlc on the way down, a highway patrol car pulled out of the weigh station and my mate started to get paranoid, i told him, wack on the cruise control and they wont be able to get your for speeding, so they followed us for like 5 min and didnt do shiiit, as soon as they see p plates and a hotted up car, they will try to get you for anything.
