Agree, this thread is sick Recap for the dummies Standard starter position fine for running a large single turbo? (3-4inch dump down passenger side) Will the starter foul on a power steering rack? Have heard mixed opinions on this Info on fitting a T56? VL master cylinder/T56 Slave with custom lines to suit? Custom or off the shelf gearbox mounts/brackets? Shifter position (reverse?) Tailshaft needs to be custom made, or can you use some sort of readily available tailshaft with slight modifications? Best places to go to get the wiring loom modified to suit the standard LS1 computer? How does it get spliced into the existing loom? Instrument cluster needs to be custom? cant use standard cluster? Edit: LS1 Power steering/A/C hook up to VL lines?

got a good price on tuffmounts. but having 2nd thoughts, thinking of doing my own now. no mods to fit them, in the process of sorting the rack out and some pipes for the exhaust.

They do seem rather expensive, especially the 6cyl K frame versions. I realize the R&D spent to get them made, but when you look at the materials involved; compared to getting a mate over, a slab of beer and a welder.. well Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thats it man, they work well in a way but better to just put motor at height and position you desire would be the go Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

we made custom mounts as we found it better for positioning the motor for a larger dump pipe for the turbo, as the tuff mounts seem to make the motor to high like you have said DA HOON

Mine is keeping P/S. Essentially the Starter is going over to the Passenger side (no relocation kit needed as I'm running a T400 gearbox) and the headers are being custom made to suit. P/S lines will be custom made aswell so it should all fit in quite nicely.
